Five years ago, the company #ipernity informed us that they would have to close https://t.co/739NjpycmU for good on 31 January 2017 for economic reasons after around 10 years of operation.
However, the members of this photo website did not want to accept this so easily. 1/

Currently, strong #auroras can be seen, even in places where they don't normally occur, as can be seen in this #photo from #ipernity member in California / USA.
There's a good chance of seeing auroras next nights, too: https://t.co/KlUa880tbx - show us!

In today's #ipernity #photo club news, we wish you a Happy New Year #hny and tell you that before creating a new group, our members must first search to see if there is already a corresponding group. Furthermore, we are now surfing on our landing page. 1/x

[ipernity @ipernity]

We also changed our home page #photos (view them at https://t.co/PSzLGLoa6I) and put a spotlight on another group (Humour) that expands our "Discover Group listing". We look ahead to our general meeting on 7 April 2020 at 16:00 UTC. And we remember two deceased ipernity members.

The work is now done, there was no downtime etc. of our website. :)

[ipernity @ipernity]

We need to do some work on one of our servers. This could lead to a short inaccessibility of our website lasting a few minutes (but this is unlikely). We will inform you in any case when we are finished.
