Maybe it's just me, but I don't understand why every asset needs its own app.
Crypto on one platform.
Stocks on another.
ETFs somewhere else.
Another one because apparently I need a different account for something else.
At some point, the convenience of having everything in separate places becomes its own inconvenience.
That's why I've been paying more attention to what exchanges are doing with Stock products.
@MEXC, for example, has expanded beyond the usual crypto lineup into RealStocks, Tokenized Stocks, Stock Futures and selected Pre-IPO products.
Obviously, these aren't interchangeable.
Each one has a different structure and risk profile.
But having the options available from an environment I'm already familiar with makes the whole crypto + traditional market crossover feel a lot more natural.
We're slowly getting to a point where I don't care as much about what category an asset belongs to.
I care about:
What am I trying to do with it?
And which instrument actually fits that?
