We believe voice is the most natural way to interact with intelligence, so we created Dessa, the most authentic full-duplex speech model ever built. Talking with it feels like talking with a person…full of emotion, nuance, pauses, and a natural cadence.

New Acquisition: MoMA📍
I am thrilled to announce that the @MuseumModernArt has acquired the diptych of the Mother and Daughter from my Invisible Line series. It was acquired through the generosity of Lori Ordover via Kopeikin Gallery. I love to think about how these images and their story will now be preserved into the future and share wall space with works from many artists that have influenced the way I see the world.

the gallery exhibits live works. their depth, breadth & value are in experiencing the renders and, often, reading the code itself (especially pre-ai), all accessible through the gallery.
All good. Funny enough, i've been experimenting mixing generative art & drawing further, w/ @a_marrast this time. LUBE for artists, to ease it a bit. Started as a meme joke, might become public utility.
this is exactly why i’m getting reluctant sharing gen art WIPs now.
context: 1+ year working on this sharing, testing, iterating, building the whole system, then you wake up to a vibe-coded a clone, no DM/ask/nothing. The "spending a year to build something takes far too long these days" reply illustrates the whole problem here. the model didn't take a year because it didn't have to since i already did the hard parts, you copied the decisions. following the thought, if anyone can rebuild anything in 20m then the only thing left that's worth anything is the vision. and that's exactly what's being taken.
don't get me wrong: i'm pro AI. and i'm from deep ic. i've made memes, remixed stuff, riffed on internet culture forever, people who follow me know. that's not the issue here. the issue is taking an artist's unreleased work and shipping your copy first. that's stealing food from my mouth, and that's where i draw the line.
forget IP law for a sec. given you have a soul, you don't need a lawyer to know what's wrong. one DM like "hey mind if i try a version of this?" that's all it takes. again: moral. and the cost isn't just mine, been having these talks with lots of artists friends for the past months. so now every artist has to wonder if sharing process = handing out free blueprints. and that kills the best part of this place. not the internet i've lived for and want to build for.
back to creating. and now you know why i'm sharing fewer WIPs publicly, at least until i'm at peace with it.
@jshguo Superintelligence lvl answer. It took you 20 minutes because the year was already spent. You didn't design anything, you copied it. Forget IP infringement, there's a basic moral layer here you clearly lack
