A lot of people on X are complaining that housing is too expensive and also saying
property tax should be illegal.

Your city still needs cops, schools, and roads. Ban the tax and you don’t erase the bill, you shift it into rents, fees, or debt.

Housing is expensive, but it’s also the largest asset most families own.

In almost every circumstance it is better to own than rent. Yes, rent is flexible but ownership builds equity and locks in your housing costs.

@LeadingReport Maybe not crowds but yes he is right that polls are fake. It’s widely known that republicans, specifically Trump supporters, are less likely to take a poll. 2024 polls overstated the Democratic margin by about 2.5 to 2.9 points.
