Despite promises to make foreign policy serve the interests of everyday Americans, many of Washington’s decisions are circumscribed by a professional culture among policymakers that normalizes war and idealizes military might. 2/2.
@SShabbarZaidi Those who are advocating for more provinces are actually living in 1960s. They want One-Unit System of Ayub Khan. Haters ready to hug 4 million Afghan Refugees but can't see a Sindhi in Karachi. Absolute haters.
@SShabbarZaidi Federalism literally means that Federal Government should stop interfering with the issues of provinces including Sindh. Karachiites want One-Unit System of Ayub Khan not federalism. @AijazJamali

I saw this chart in an article on Zero Hedge. If a picture is worth a thousand words, this one is worth trillions. The 2000 bubble didn't end well and the 2020 bubble will end even worse!
Everything the Fed has done since the 2008 financial crisis has only exacerbated the problems that created that crisis, which is why we're on the precipice of a much larger one and why the pricking of this bubble is so risky. https://t.co/DICkmRsacs
In addition to the reverse wealth effect of falling stock prices, the Fed is also worried that the excessive U.S. debt level its policy created means that the next recession will produce another financial crisis. So it's lowering rates to ease the burden of surviving that debt.
