کیا آپ جانتے ہیں وائیلڈ لائیف بیالوجسٹس نے انکو آب گاہوں کا اکالوجیکل انجنیئر کیوں قرار دیا؟
کیا آپ جانتے ہیں کہ یہ پرندے شکاری پرندوں جیسا کہ باز وغیرہ کے حملہ سے بچاؤ کے لیے اجتمائی دفاعی حکمت عملی اختیار کرتے ہیں؟
اسپون بل پرندوں کا مسکن جھیلوں، دریائوں اور ڈیلٹا کے کم گہرائی والے علاقے ہیں جہاں پانی میں اپنے سر اندر کیے یہ گروپ فیڈنگ کرتے ہیں اس دوران وقفوں سے گروپ کا ھر ایک میمبر اپنا سر باہر نکالتا ہے جس کا کام اطراف پر نظر ڈالنا اور ساتھ ہی حصول خوراک کرتے جانا۔
انکی خوراک چھوٹے آبی جانداروں پر مشتمل ہوتی ہے۔ انکا پانی کے اندر خوراک تلاش کرنے کا عمل دیکھنے کے قابل ہوتا ہے۔ پورے گروپ نے اپنے سر گردن تک پانی کے اندر کیے ہوتے ہیں جہاں چمچ نما چونچ کو ھلکا سا کھولے زیر آب زمیں کی نرم سطح پر موجود کیچڑ میں پیوست کرکے گھومنا شروع کر دیتے ہیں ٹھیک اسی طرح سے جیسے کسان زمیں میں ھل چلاتے ہیں اس صورتحال سے پیدا ہوئی ھلچل وہاں موجود چھوٹی مچھلیوں، کریبس، سنیلز اور دیگر حشرات کو ادھر ادھر بھاگنے پر مجبور کر دیتی ہے اور اسی عالم میں خوراک اسپون بلز کی چمچہ نما چونچ میں خودبخود آجاتی ہیں جہاں ارتعاش محسوس کرتے ہی یہ چونچ بند کرلیتے ہیں اور خوراک کو نگلتے جاتے ہیں۔ اس طرح یہ خوراک بھی حاصل کرتے ہیں اور اپنی کارگزاری سے ویٹ لینڈز کے ایکو سسٹم اور وہاں کی زمین پر ویسے ہی مثبت نتائج و اثرات چھوڑ جاتے ہیں جیسے کسان کے زمین میں ہل چلانے کے ہوتے ہیں اور یہی وجہ ہے کہ "بایو ٹربیٹر" قرار پائے۔
انکو اسپون بل یا "چمچہ نما" نام کسی خوش آمدی وجہ سے نہیں بلکہ ان کی چونچ کی وجہ سے جو چمچ کے جیسے ہوتی ہے، کی وجہ سے ملا جو حصول خوراک میں مددگار رہتی ہے۔

کیا کوئی پرندہ مسلسل بارہ دن رات زمین یا سطح آب پر بغیر اترے، بغیر کھائے پیے اور بنا آرام کیے اڑ سکتا ہے؟ آپ یقیناً اس بہادر اور عظیم الشان سے ملنا چاہیں گے۔ زیر نظر ویڈیو میں کراچی کے ساحل پر آئے مھمان "بار ٹیلڈ گاڈ وٹ" کو دیکھیں۔
کیا آپ جانتے ہیں کہ انکی ساری زندگی مشکل اور لمبے سفر میں گزرتی ہے اور پہلے سفر میں زیادہ تر موجودہ سال کے پیدا ہوئے نواجوان اجل کا شکار ہو جاتے ہیں؟
انکا بچہ جب انڈے سے نکتا ہے تو عظیم الشان سفر پر روانہ ہونے میں صرف چار ھفتے ہوتے ہیں۔ اس دوران انکی نشوونما درکار ہوتی ہے اور یہ انڈے سے نکلنے کے چند گھنٹوں میں ہی تیز ترین شکاری کی طرح برتاؤ شروع کر دیتے ہیں۔
انکی وجہ شہرت الاسکا سے نیوزی لینڈ تک سمندر کے اوپر بین البراعظمی نان اسٹاپ 11680 کلومیٹر فاصلہ کی نان اسٹاپ اڑان ہے۔ سفر سے پہلے یہ خوب خوراک کھاتے ہیں اور اپنے جسم میں طاقت چربی کی صورت میں جمع کرتے ہیں۔انکی خوراک میں ساحلی کیڑے مکوڑے شامل ہیں جن کو یہ ساحلی کیچڑ سے لمبی چونچ کے ذریعے ڈھونڈ کر نکالتے ہیں۔
اڑان کے دوران زمین کی مقناطیسی لہروں سے فائدہ حاصل کرنے کی صلاحیت کے حامل ہیں جس کا تعلق انکی آنکھ اور انکے دماغ سے ہوتا ہے اسطرح فطرت سے حاصل شدہ صلاحیت کا بھرپور استعمال کرتے ہیں۔

🇵🇰🇰🇬 New trade corridor activated: Kyrgyz truck reaches Pakistan

📍 Pakistan has marked a regional connectivity milestone. The first truck from Kyrgyzstan has arrived via China under the Quadrilateral Traffic in Transit Agreement (QTTA) framework.

Key details:

▪️ The truck entered Sost Dry Port with a commercial cargo

▪️ Was operated under QTTA, connecting Pakistan, China, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan

▪️ The operation was facilitated by Pakistan's National Logistics Corporation (NLC), together with its partner company in Kyrgyzstan

Why it matters:

It is the first time a Central Asian country has used its own vehicle to ship goods to Pakistan. QTTA now offers a reliable alternative route for all types of cargo.

What's next:

Extending the route to Karachi Port is planned — giving landlocked Central Asia direct access to global markets via the Bishkek–Karachi corridor.

Context:

Pakistan has been moving cargo to Kyrgyzstan since 2024 using multimodal TIR systems.

Pakistani nationals in Iran, who are without valid documents and wish to return to 🇵🇰, may kindly immediately reach the Zahedan Deportation Centre. They should bring proof of citizenship (CNIC or passport – original, photocopy, or electronic copy) based on whose authenticity Iranian authorities will allow their exit from Iran to 🇵🇰. Upon arrival at the Pakistan border, a NADRA Van has been deployed which will verify their nationality and thereafter allow them to enter Pakistan. I am delighted to share that last night we managed to transfer nine of our sailors from their ship to Bandar Abbas. 6 of them decided to stay on the ship on their own volition . I spoke to some of them on phone today to enquire about their well-being. We are sending them to Pakistan today. I am immensely grateful to those people, and particularly Counsellor Khalid Tashfeen and Mr. Shahid Kashmiri, who helped us in their evacuation to Pakistan- amidst significant challenges.
