A well-disciplined security outfit.
After failing to infiltrate them, The Nigerian Govt committed atrocities inorder to blackmail and intimidate these noble men of the #ESN, but their righteousness prevailed.
All media propaganda and bribed lobbyists could not sell the false narrative.
Happy Anniversary!!!
“There is a phenomenon happening in Igbo land today. The perception of the armed forces amongst our youth is very, very bad. Our people are no longer joining the army, police or any security forces.."
- Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo raises concern over Igbo youths’ perception of the military, urging them to join security agencies
Me - Do not listen to the plea of our politicians to go and join Nigerian military. Any Igbo Joining Nigerian army is a complete suicide mission. Time will come also when we shall ask our people to shun any Nigerian force. We cannot be Championing Nigeria Disintegration and at the same time encouraging our people to join the Nigeria military .

Nigerian Catholic Bishop Wilfred Chikpa Anagbe:
“The total elimination of the Christian population is underway. A genocide at the hands of jihadists.”
Anagbe says Benue State, where his diocese is located and where he says 98% of the population is Christian, has become one of Nigeria’s most dangerous areas. He says that attackers kill civilians, destroy churches, burn farmland and drive entire communities from their villages before occupying the abandoned territory, describing it as a “calculated strategy of Islamization.”
He highlighted the Yelewata massacre, where around 200 people were killed, saying attackers set fire to a room containing civilians and “burned everyone alive, including two babies aged three and five months.”
A 2024 European Parliament resolution cited estimates that 52,000 Christians had been killed in Nigeria since 2009 and that 18,000 churches and 2,200 Christian schools had been destroyed.
Identity crisis does not concern Etche people of Rivers State. Stop associating my Etche dialect with Benin. I am an Igbo girl.
—Etche lady warns her Yoruba and Benin audience.
Deltans are tired of Yorubas for trying to incite them against Igbos n telling d Igbos among them to deny their igboness!they said they identify as Igbos! They are advicing Yorubas to go and unite with their brothers in Togo instead of disturbing Nigerians
Hear it yourself,a man from AkwaIbom said that their ancestors are from Arochukwu .They are Igbo.
After we Igbos have finished uniting with our brothers across the rivers,South eastern will be the largest region with over 160 million in population
“Federal Government has come to play politics with Onitsha Head Bridge. That is why, now that the election is close, they have come to repair it.” — Pastor Odumeje
I thought it was just Asaba Massacre, I never knew we have documented Isheagu Massacre where innocent civilians including King and his entire cabinet were lined up by Nigerian soldiers and slaughtered. Nigeria committed atrocious act against Ndi Igbo.
No wonder the ban history from Nigerian school. Ihe ike mere Ndi Igbo.
An Etche maiden (of Rivers State origin) in her Etche dialect asks Yoruba people to help bring down her shoulder, which has been hanging out of pride since the morning she woke up and discovered she is an Ìgbò girl and her people are the custodians of Amadioha, the revered Ìgbò deity.
His name was Daniel Lawrence, but during the Nigerian-Biafran War, he was known simply as “Pampas.”
Pampas was a mulatto, born to a British mother from Liverpool and a Biafran father from Ikom, Ogoja, who worked as a sailor. He was their only child.
Tragedy came early in his life. His mother died of malaria during her first visit to Nigeria. Not long after, his father also died in a shipwreck, leaving young Daniel an orphan.
He was taken in by his paternal uncle in Onitsha, where he grew up and worked as a young driver in his uncle’s business. Then, in 1967, war broke out.
At barely 17 years old, the young and handsome Pampas volunteered to serve in the Biafran Army.
He soon found himself behind the wheel of a Panhard armoured car captured from Nigerian forces at Onitsha. But that was only the beginning.
His most remarkable chapter came when he became the driver of a much more formidable captured armoured fighting vehicle—a Saladin armoured car.
For nearly 18 months, Pampas drove the Saladin, with Sasa Nwoke serving as its gunner. Together, they became a serious nightmare for enemy forces. The Saladin provided crucial fire support for Biafran infantry and reportedly knocked out more than 10 enemy armoured vehicles, including Saladins, Panhards, Saracens and Ferrets, across different sectors of the war.
Pampas' skill behind the wheel perfectly complemented Sasa Nwoke's ability as a gunner. Their effectiveness eventually earned them Biafra's highest military honour for bravery, the Biafra Cross, presented by their divisional commander, Brigadier Ogbugo Kanu.
But shortly after receiving the honour, tragedy struck again.
Pampas lost his beloved Saladin in a freak accident. When he evacuated the damaged vehicle, he did so clutching his AK-47 rifle.
Despite everything he had endured, the loss of both parents, growing up as an orphan, and surviving some of the fiercest battles of the war,Pampas survived the Nigerian-Biafran War.
His story remains one of the lesser-known stories of the young men who found themselves behind the wheel of armoured vehicles during the Biafran struggle.

JUST IN: UN votes to change the world map so Africa looks its real size
The UN General Assembly voted Friday to back a new world map that shows Africa at its true scale.
The “Correct the Map” resolution, led by Togo and the African Union, passed 164–1. Only the United States voted no. Six countries abstained.
For centuries most of us have used the Mercator map. On it, Africa looks about the same size as Greenland. Africa is actually 14 times bigger. You could fit the U.S., China, India, Japan, Mexico and a big chunk of Europe inside it and still have space left.
The resolution is not legally binding. It asks schools, governments and tech companies to start using maps like the Equal Earth projection, which keeps land areas in proportion. Mercator can still be used for navigation.
Togo’s foreign minister put it simply: “A fair world begins with a fair map.”
The U.S. called the vote superfluous and said it was a distraction. France has already said it will drop Mercator for official maps.
Change won’t happen overnight. But the UN just put official weight behind a map that finally shows how big Africa really is.
The world map you've known all your life is wrong! Nearly every country at the UN voted to adopt a new map that shows a more accurate size of Africa after ~500 years of "symbolic minimization."
Only the US voted against it.
I explained why this is important on CNN
A United States-based political advisory and lobbying firm, Von Batten-Montague-York, has alleged that President Bola Tinubu and his associates forged the US Embassy letter that appreciated him for fighting insecurity.
Von Batten-Montague-York made the allegation in a statement posted on its verified X handle on Wednesday.
The allegation came after the circulation of a letter said to have been issued through the US Embassy in Nigeria and referenced by Nigeria’s ambassador to Mexico, Reno Omokri, to defend Tinubu against claims surrounding his records in the United States.
The firm raised questions over the document’s authenticity, pointing to what it described as several glaring spelling, grammatical and formatting errors in the purported official correspondence.
