BIAFRA is our religion & belief. It is our way of life. And in CHUKWU-OKIKE ABIAMA we hinge our conviction that BIAFRA will surely come & emancipate Umuchineke.
It is a diplomatic INSULT for an Indian hospital to use the image of former Nigerian Head of State, Abdulsalami Abubakar, as an advert for knee replacement surgery in India. Even VP Shettima is in tow. It is a national embarrassment that portrays Nigeria as a banana republic.
“I hereby direct the unconditional release of MAZI NNAMDI KANU and all political prisoners, and discontinuation of the trial of OMOYELE SOWORE. I further direct that all political grievances, particularly the demand for referendum, should be settled by dialogue” - This is the critical part of President Tinubu’s 1st October speech that didn’t happen. A missed opportunity.
Do you know that the Willink Commission of 1958 determined that Igbos constituted 40% of the population of old Rivers Province, which comprised of Rivers and Bayelsa States of today. And these were Igbos native to the Province, not settlers from Southeast.
JUSTICE JAMES OMOTOSHO SAID THE RULE. HE CITED THE AUTHORITIES. HE CONVICTED WITHOUT TRANSITING.
In his own judgment, Record Vol. 2, p. 1284, Justice Omotosho cited State v. Egigia (2024) LPELR-62009(SC) — the authority recognising that a repealed law has no legal life.
He also cited IGP v. Ogundimu (2022) for the proposition that proceedings conducted under a repealed law are a nullity.
He put those authorities into his own judgment.
Nobody forced him to cite them.
He chose them.
Then he convicted under the Terrorism (Prevention) Act 2011 as amended in 2013 — legislation repealed by the TPPA 2022.
He also proceeded on the basis of CEMA, which had itself been repealed by the Nigeria Customs Service Act 2023.
He cited the authorities that explain the problem.
Then he proceeded as though the problem did not exist.
He did not move the trial to TPPA 2022 as the law commanded. He stuck to repealed TPAA 2013.
HE CONVICTED WITHOUT TRANSITING. @FederalHigh@njcNig@NGRSenate@NigBarAssoc@NigerianBarz
Nigerian government and Nigerian justice system - why you continue violating your own laws and constitution? Holding a man against every law, including the international law? Mazi Nnamdi Kanu should and must have a just trial. He must be released. Free Mazi Nnamdi Kanu NOW!
What do you think of this rising trend of Middle Belt people publicly apologizing to Ndigbo and seeking their solidarity, and even the Hausa? Is it sincere, or is it just because of the unprecedented terror attacks against their people in the North?
OMOTOSHO — SHOW US THE LAW
WHY JUSTICE JAMES OMOTOSHO IS UNFIT TO SIT ON ANY BENCH
HE SAID “NO WRITTEN LAW, NO CONVICTION.” THEN HE CONVICTED WITHOUT TRANSITING.
I was in that courtroom. I heard him say it with my own ears.
“NO WRITTEN LAW, NO CONVICTION.”
Justice James Omotosho said those words out loud.
Not in a ruling.
Not in a judgment.
In open court, on 4 November 2025.
Where the public could hear. Where I could hear. Where my brother, standing there in the dock without a lawyer, could hear.
And I believed him.
Because why would a judge say the law if he did not intend to obey it?
Sixteen days later, on 20 November 2025, he convicted my brother, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, under legislation that had already been repealed.
That is not a judge getting the law wrong.
That is a judge who stated the law, understood the law, and then did the opposite.
He is a deceiver in robes.
His words do not mean what they say.

I refuse to condemn #Israel for defending itself, and I refuse not to see the suffering of the #Palestinian people. This war was caused by Hamas and its sponsors, and not by Israel or the Palestinian people who are suffering as a result of this war.
So, instead of condemning Israel, a country that on October 6th was minding its own business, I say to the EU, the Arab League, and the African Union: join President #Trump and the United States in finding a solution that results in Israelis and Palestinians living side by side in peace and prosperity. Walking out of the United Nations General Assembly is theater, not effective policy or governing.
Israel is not the problem. The Palestinian people are not the problem. Hamas and its sponsors of evil are the problem. Until we eliminate Hamas and its sponsors, this problem will continue to repeat itself, and true peace will never be a reality in the region.
If you’re Igbo (or a friend of Ndigbo), please share this post widely in the interest of promotion of Igbo social media entrepreneurship, especially songs and music in Igbo language. At the present, #Igbo is missing in action, and it’s up to Ndigbo (and our friends) to rectify it. Listen to this short clip for the simple step you can take. Thank you.

Those who asked me to clarify the legal impact of the the court of appeal DISCHARGE of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu on 13th October 2022 and why why it matters, should read this short post, and watch the attached clip of this interview I granted to AriseTV just 2 days after the judgment.
The law demands that once a detained defendant is DISCHARGED, he no longer has any business remaining in detention. Releasing him becomes automatic, without more. So, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was supposed to be freed on the same day the appeal court discharged him.
That it did not happen was due to the unconstitutional refusal of the Federal government to obey the judgment, and the absence of a muscular and expeditious judicial challenge to the refusal to release him.
It was this loophole and the institutional predilection to illegality that gave them the wiggle room to apply and secure an improper Stay of Execution that kept Mazi Nnamdi Kanu extrajudicially detained until his unjust conviction and imprisonment.
BREAKING:
Igbo Leaders of Thought (ILT) supports “the right to self-determination for Nigeria’s ethnic nationalities,” and insists that regions should be organised around “ethno-linguistic civilizations or groupings thereof.” Ans it called for the unconditional release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
The statement was signed by Emeritus Prof. Elochukwu Amucheazi, President-General of ILT; Senator John Azuta-Mbata, President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo; Prof. Dozie Chukwuokolo, Secretary-General of ILT; Ambassador Uche Ajulu-Okeke, adviser to the Igbo delegation; Dr Katchi Ononuju, deputy leader of the Igbo delegation; and Prof. Obasi Igwe, leader of the Igbo delegation to the Abuja conference.
The group said releasing and rehabilitating political prisoners, particularly Kanu and his colleagues, would help create trust and confidence in negotiations over Nigeria’s future.
The leaders also proposed regional or nationwide referendums through which Nigerians would determine the political and constitutional structure they wanted.
Apart from ndị ofe azịza & APC, when last did you hear or see anyone say or write anything against Nnamdi Kanu like before?
Those who once hated him are either now silent or have openly agreed with him.
This video really opened the eyes of many people.
On 25th September while the Biafran war was going on in 1967 Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was born a true Biafran with Biafran birth certificate.
He was destined to restore Biafra. Today he sits in an illegal imprisonment celebrating his Birthday.
Happy birthday Mazi Nnamdi Kanu
As the public debates the legality of the 284 properties in America (valued at $271m) and linked to 61 Nigerian officials, let it be clear that if the properties are tainted with corruption or money laundering originating in Nigeria, US long-arm jurisdiction provides two primary mechanisms for forfeiture and prosecution in the US. They are:
1. Civil In Rem Forfeiture (Asset Seizure): Under the US Money Laundering Control Act, the Department of Justice’s Kleptocracy Asset Recovery Initiative can file civil actions against the properties directly. Prosecutors must prove by a preponderance of evidence that the funds used were derived from foreign official corruption or bribery (which qualify as "specified unlawful activities" under US law), or that the purchases were structured to conceal dirty money. And because it targets the asset, forfeiture does not require a prior criminal conviction of the foreign official.
2. Criminal Prosecution & Forfeiture: If Nigerian individuals used US financial institutions, shell companies, or real estate rails to move illicit funds into America, they can be criminally indicted for money laundering. Upon conviction, criminal forfeiture forces the surrender of all involved assets alongside potential prison sentences. US Bank Secrecy Act and Corporate Transparency Act enforcement can further prosecute enablers for failing to report beneficial owners or suspicious transactions.
However, no criminal or civil infraction will arise if the transactions were done by the book, regardless of the high monetary value of the property and status of the owners as public officials in Nigeria, or politically exposed persons.

To those who are sincerely wondering what is being done about political solution to MAZI NNAMDI KANU’s case, hear this: Like Nelson Mandela, #MNK remains open to political solution that will make sense.
To this end, the discreet discussions that commenced late last year have not been terminated. And a Southeast governor, his family, my humble self and a trusted few are all involved, proactively. This does not mean that pertinent legal maneuverings will be downgraded.
And to the dismay of Mazi Kanu’s traducers, the aggressive social media spotlight on his case will continue, intensively, because again, like the case of Mandela, the public is the jury in this matter, and the media is the only vehicle that nurtures public participation.
Thank you!
I have often wondered why other tribes always inject themselves whenever Igbos debate on who is Igbo or not, as regards the South South. It’s not the same when other tribes debate the same. It’s a complex issue, but this video by Dr Katch Ononuju has explained it all, plus more.
President @realDonaldTrump, as usual, just delivered a masterful speech at the @UN General Assembly. During his address, he voiced his shock, displeasure, and profound disapproval of foreign governments that the United States has officially identified as persecutors of Christians. The government of Nigerian President Bola Tinubu (@OfficialABAT) is at the top of that list.
We will engage with the Trump Administration next week to emphasize that President #Tinubu’s government is not only complicit in the killing of Christians across Nigeria but is also directly targeting innocent Muslims, including impoverished Muslim children who were mining simply to help feed their families.
President Tinubu’s government is a threat to all Nigerians (Christians and Muslims alike) and to the integrity of the United States. It is essential that the United States stand with the good people of Nigeria and support free and fair elections that enable Nigerians to remove President Tinubu from office and elect responsible leaders.

President @realDonaldTrump’s agenda for tomorrow was just announced. It is a shame that, after spending $9 million, Nigerian President Bola Tinubu (@OfficialABAT) and the Nigerian Presidency got their asses kicked by Dr. Von Batten.
We recommend that the Nigerian Vice President (@officialSKSM) pay an extra $9 million and try to sneak in for a selfie. Nigerian President Bola #Tinubu, the man who is alleged to have been instrumental in smuggling heroin (poison) into our country, has no right to be in the same room or city as the President of the United States.
