In this grieve situation, Industry seeks support for implementation of @shipmin_india's Order No. PD-14033/4/2020-PD VII dated 21/4/2020 appropriately. Many shipping lines are reluctant to adhere to same.
@mansukhmandviya@cbic_india strict order to all such CFSs & ICDs is needed
@shipmin_india DG Shipping has not followed Ministry order in totality. DG shipping has to send out an order exactly in line with ministry. This should be enforced upon all PPP, CFS, ICD & Shipping lines strictly which is not happening right now. Ministry needs to intervene for implementation.
@shipmin_india In the shipping ministry order date 21 April the waiver of all kinds of port charges were waived of till lockdown plus 30 days, but dg shipping is giving it till 3 May only. DG shipping should waive of charges as per Ministry order I.e. lockdown period plus 30 days. #Savethetrade
COVID-19 should not be used as a ploy to dilute anti-dumping investigation against foreign newsprint suppliers, rather as an opportunity to encourage domestic produce which meets all customer quality needs. Import duty withdrawal will destroy domestic manufacturing & employment.
