Israel killed Al Jazeera cameraman Ahmed Wishah in Gaza, months after killing his brother Mohammed.
Israel has now killed 12 media workers from the Al Jazeera Media Network in Gaza since Oct. 2023.
Tomorrow! If the government and the FAI think that moving the game is going to stop the campaign, they're wrong. We support the Palestinian BDS call, the demand is for the FAI to boycott the Nations League fixtures against apartheid Israel. We won't stop until they #StopTheGame!
“Since the ceasefire was announced in October 2025, 265 Palestinian children have been killed across Gaza. That is an absurd and devastating figure. During a period supposedly defined by restraint and protection, a child has been killed, on average, every single day for more than eight months.
Let us be clear about what this means. These children were not killed in a warzone. They were killed in their homes. In their schools. Playing football. Fishing. They were shot, bombed, and struck by quadcopters." - @1james_elder, UNICEF Spokesperson

Israeli airstrikes and gunfire killed at least 10 Palestinians across Gaza on Saturday, among them an Al Jazeera photojournalist and two young girls, as Israel pressed its 254th straight day of violating the ceasefire, Felesteen Online reported, citing medical sources.
🔸 In the Bureij camp in central Gaza, an Israeli strike on a group of people killed photojournalist Ahmed Samir Wishah and two others, Sibaai Abu Hasna and Mohammed Abu Gharqoud.
🔸 In Gaza City, a pre-dawn strike on the Safadi family’s apartment on Thirtieth Street killed 4 people, including two young girls and a woman. Their 9-year-old son was critically wounded in the attack and underwent the amputation of a leg.
🔸 A man was killed and 8 others wounded when a drone struck people near the Dream Palace hall west of Khan Younis; the wounded were taken to Nasser Medical Complex.
🔸 Further strikes and gunfire killed a woman in Beit Lahiya and a man near the Saftawi junction in northern Gaza, while a drone wounded four people, one critically, in Gaza City’s Sheikh Radwan neighborhood.
Israeli tanks south of Mawasi, Rafah and warships off the southern coast also opened fire on residential areas, the outlet said.

🚨 A new @amnesty investigation found that the #Israel-i military used mass “evacuation” and no-return orders to unlawfully displace hundreds of thousands of people in #Lebanon, violating international humanitarian law. https://t.co/1UACDP8Rbx
Not only is Israel banning foreign journalists from entering Gaza to report independently, there’s a growing number refused entry to Israel and Palestinian territories, says @CPJ_Eurasia Journalists legitimately reporting on widespread Israeli killings and bombardment of Gaza, West Bank and Lebanon are smeared as non-partisan and antisemitic. ‘For two-thirds of the journalists, officials directly cited their reporting or public statements as grounds for the decisions, including their use of terms such as “apartheid” or “genocide” to describe Israeli policies, according to documents seen by CPJ and news reports’ https://t.co/DS3iFs4RbL via @CPJ_Eurasia
💢 Israeli forces murdered two Palestinians and wounded many others Wednesday evening in a drone strike targeting civilians on the beach in the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, according to Felesteen Online.
Medical sources identified the two killed as Mohammed Jawda al-Farra and Hussein Mohammed al-Qadra. Ambulance crews transported the victims and several wounded Palestinians, some in critical condition, to Nasser Hospital.
Two other people were killed in northern Gaza, in attacks Israel’s military later took responsibility for.
Great letter in today's Irish Times. The government and the FAI should show leadership and pull out of the games against apartheid Israel. This is not on the players. #StopTheGame
Moving the game won't stop the campaign. We have always supported the Palestinian BDS call and that means the demand remains, for the FAI to boycott the Nations League fixtures against apartheid Israel. Join us at the Dáil next Tuesday 5pm. We won't stop until they #StopTheGame!
