Burkina Faso has officially launched a medical oxygen production center at Schiphra Hospital, aiming to reduce reliance on imported oxygen and ensure patients have access when they need it.
Officials say the country cannot depend entirely on foreign imports to save the lives of its people. Medical oxygen is now being produced locally at the hospital, supporting a more reliable healthcare system.
The move is also expected to strengthen Burkina Fasoโs ability to respond to medical emergencies without waiting for supplies from abroad.

RIBADUโS SECURITY APPARATUS EXISTS TO SERVE NORTHERN ISLAMIC INTERESTS
That is not a conspiracy theory. It is what the evidence shows.
Nigeria's security apparatus has more counterterrorism technology and coordination infrastructure than ever before. In January 2024, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps received brand new surveillance drones and advanced communications equipment. Eleven months later, in December 2024, the NSCDC dedicated its Counter Terrorism Command and Control Center at national headquarters in Abuja โ with much fanfare, a cabinet minister in attendance โ described by the Commandant General himself as "a state-of-the-art hub for communication, coordination and intelligence sharing which would facilitate rapid response and precision in counter terrorism."
Rapid response. Precision. Counter terrorism.
So where is the rapid response when Christians are being massacred?
June 2025, Yelewata, Benue State. Advance warning received three weeks before the attack. A second warning the day before. A military base less than one kilometer away. Security forces retreated. Nearly 300 Christians burned alive in market stalls.
March 2026, Ngoshe, Borno State. Three hundred Nigerian soldiers stationed in the town. They withdrew before the first shot. Over 100 killed. 300 abducted into slavery. The government had been paying displaced Christians in Cameroon to return. They came back and were massacred.
Christmas 2023. Easter 2024. Warning after warning. Promise after promise. Body after body.
The technology exists. The warnings arrive. The forces stand down.
Now watch what happens when the same apparatus turns in the other direction.
The Nigerian government, with no hearing or deliberation, unilaterally declared IPOB โ the Indigenous People of Biafra โ a terrorist organization. That designation has been challenged by Nigeria's own courts. It is not recognized by any other government on earth. No international body. No Western ally. No African Union member state. Nigeria stands alone in that designation.
Unlike the jihad groups in the North the government insists on calling "bandits" and "herders," IPOB hasn't slaughtered villages, burned churches and schools, enslaved or kidnapped anyone, or displaced millions. But the government calls them terrorists, and that designation is enough.
Because with IPOB labeled terrorists, the CT-C4's counterterrorism mandate legally covers the Southeast. The surveillance drones that never seem to spot Fulani militia movements in Benue have been deployed over Igbo communities in Enugu, Imo, Anambra, and Abia. The rapid response that never materializes for burning Christians in the Middle Belt has been fully activated against political activists in Igbo-majority states.
This is not hypothetical. Federal security forces have conducted multiple military operations in the Southeast under the IPOB terrorism designation โ operations with no equivalent ever mounted against Fulani militias that have killed tens of thousands and displaced millions.
The Fulani militia gets a stand-down. The Igbo get a drone overhead and a terrorism designation their own courts have questioned.
That is not a malfunction. It appears to me that is the system working exactly as designed.
Now ask who designed it.
The NSCDC Counter Terrorism Unit operates inside a Northern Muslim-dominated command structure. Its Commandant General โ Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, son of an Islamic cleric โ was reappointed by President Tinubu in February 2026, bypassing the established succession protocol that would have transferred authority to the most senior Deputy Commandant General, who is Igbo. Senior NSCDC officers called the situation "deeply troubling."
Audi reports to National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu. The man who publicly calls jihadist militants his "brothers." Who coordinated the arming of Miyetti Allah Fulani militias with AK-47 rifles under a federal security operation. Who personally signed a $9 million Washington lobbying contract to suppress the Nigeria genocide narrative.
The man responsible for Nigeria's counterterrorism coordination arms the Fulani militias slaughtering Christians. Oversees the apparatus that receives advance warnings of those attacks. And his forces stand down every single time.
While those same forces remain ready โ legally authorized, technologically equipped โ to move against the Igbo at any moment, under a terrorism designation no one else in the world recognizes.
Now add Turkey.
On Christmas Day 2025, President Trump bombed ISIS in Sokoto. The following day, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi โ the Northern cleric who publicly defends Boko Haram and ISWAP and serves as the government's appointed mediator with jihadist groups โ issued a public demand: Nigeria must halt all military cooperation with the United States immediately. "If Nigeria wants military assistance," Gumi declared, "China, Turkey, and Pakistan can do the job effectively."
Within weeks Tinubu was on a plane to Ankara.
January 2026 โ nine agreements signed with Erdogan including a Military Cooperation Protocol. April 2026 โ Nigeria's Defense Minister confirms: 200 Nigerian special forces to Turkey for training. A permanent Turkish training facility on Nigerian soil.
The organization most likely to staff that facility is SADAT International Defense Consultancy โ founded by 23 Turkish officers expelled from their military for Salafist ideology. Their stated mission: helping the Islamic world achieve military superpower status. Their founder declared in 2019 that SADAT exists to "pave the way for the long-awaited Mahdi." He specifically named Nigeria as a country where jihadist groups deserve protection from African governments. The US Defense Department accused SADAT of training ISIS and al-Qaeda fighters.
An NSCDC Counter Terrorism Unit operating inside a Northern Muslim-dominated command structure, under a Commandant General who bypassed Igbo succession, reporting to an NSA who publicly embraces jihadist militants as brothers, equipped with surveillance technology, and now being expanded through a Turkish military training pipeline founded by Salafist officers whose stated mission is preparing the world for the Mahdi โ is not a unit whose personnel composition you would expect to be transparent or friendly to Christian communities or the Igbo people.
It is Islamic conquest infrastructure wearing a security agency's uniform.
And it is being upgraded.
If you have information about the staffing, operations, or command structure of the NSCDC Counter Terrorism Unit โ or about how this apparatus has been deployed in the Southeast โ we want to hear from you.

UPDATE -- The Nigerian military is taking credit for the "rescue" of 360 women and children released by Boko Haram on Saturday, June 6, from a Boko Haram enclave near Ngoshe, Gwoza Local Government Area, Borno State.
The military claims this was a coordinated operation built on weeks of intelligence, signals intercepts, and aerial surveillance, ending in a covert nighttime strike that overwhelmed the insurgents.
Sources on the ground tell a different story.
Eyewitness accounts and on-the-ground reporting suggest the following.
A ransom was paid. The Borno South Youth Alliance, whose president Samaila Kaigama has publicly disputed the military's "rescue" narrative, said on his Facebook account that "there was no rescue mission." A separate source on the ground, who confirmed by name to me directly, said one of the soldiers involved acknowledged that the ransom was delivered before the captives were released.
The ransom amount, per ground sources, is reported at approximately 6 billion naira, delivered in U.S. dollars. The cash was reportedly delivered by Mining Marshals to a village named Kwatara/Thimanka Ward.
For perspective: 6 billion naira is roughly what the entire Gwoza Local Government Area would generate in annual revenue over 8 to 10 years. The ransom was equivalent to a decade of the local economy โ paid in U.S. dollars, through a federal security unit, to a designated terrorist organization.
The captives were held three kilometers from a Nigerian military base. They were held in Gavva village, at the foot of the Mandara Mountains, in the open. The Nigerian military's "intelligence gathering" was looking three kilometers off its own perimeter.
Most of the released captives appear not to have been from Ngoshe. Professor Audu Idriss of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Maiduguri โ a native of Ngoshe and son of its former village head โ told Truth Nigeria that most of those returned were not from the community. "We still have many Ngoshe residents with them [Boko Haram]," he said.
Most of the released were Muslims. Of the small number actually from Lassa Local Government Area, seven of ten were Christians โ confirmed by eyewitnesses on the ground. But the larger pattern across the 360 returnees, according to multiple ground sources, was the release of Muslims while Christian women and children remained in captivity.
The women returned in hijab. A Christian cleric in Pulka, 13 miles south of Ngoshe, told Truth Nigeria that most of those who appeared to be Muslim returnees were originally Christian women who had been forcibly converted while in captivity, or who were being held as sex slaves, or who had been sold on to other terrorist groups.
Approximately one hundred Christian women and children remain in captivity in the Mandara Mountains. The Assistant Chief Imam of Ngoshe โ Imam Sadiq, who was himself among those abducted in the March 4, 2026 attack on Ngoshe โ has reportedly been appointed by Boko Haram as the Islamic teacher to indoctrinate the teenage Christian girls still being held. Ground sources told me directly they believe Imam Sadiq was working with the attackers before the March 4 assault.
Four infants died during captivity โ confirmed by the Borno South Youth Alliance, buried where they died, never coming home.
The question that demands an answer.
If this was a real "rescue mission" built on weeks of intelligence and signals intercepts, why would the Nigerian Army not release casualty figures from the operation? Why would they not describe the firefight, the captured insurgents, the weapons recovered? Their statement describes "complete tactical surprise" but provides no numbers from the engagement itself. A real military operation that "overwhelmed" a Boko Haram enclave would produce body counts, weapons hauls, and prisoner photos. The army's statement provides none of these.
It does claim, however, that Special Forces "achieved complete tactical surprise" at a location three kilometers from one of their own bases.
The pattern, plainly stated.
The Nigerian military appears to have paid a multi-billion-naira ransom in U.S. dollars to a designated foreign terrorist organization. That ransom appears to have purchased the release of predominantly Muslim captives, while Christian women and children remained in captivity to be indoctrinated and forcibly converted by an imam working with the same terrorist organization. The military then claimed the result as a "rescue operation" and the world's press repeated the claim.
If these accounts hold up under further reporting, this is not a rescue. It is a wealth transfer to designated terrorists. It is religious discrimination in the selection of who gets to come home. It is the continuation of the documented genocide of Christians in northeastern Nigeria.
The Christians of Ngoshe are still in the mountains. Their captors are fat with cash and have a new imam to teach them Islam. The Nigerian Army is taking the credit.
This is the US "counterterrorism partner" who is paying $9M+ lobbyists to tell the US government what a great job they're doing fighting the terrorists.
This is complicity. This is fraud.
