An article by @nipclaw on a very interesting patent infringement case with a Yorkshire connection in that C is based in Leeds and its solicitor was @jameslovelegal. The deputy judge said case hung on facts but @patentlyo called it a primer on patent law. https://t.co/az9S6KUlAW

Yesterday the IP Society of Yorkshire gave a dinner in Leeds for Mr Justice Birss. The judge delivered a speech on the assessment of damages for IP infringement after the meal.
