Thick haze was seen along the Parit Panjang route towards the Sedenak Highway in Johor this morning, significantly reducing visibility for motorists.
The conditions come as all eight air quality monitoring locations in Johor recorded unhealthy API readings as of 9am, with Segamat recording the highest in the country at 187.
Other parts of Johor were also affected, including Pasir Gudang at 180, Kluang at 179, Larkin at 178 and Batu Pahat at 161.
Motorists travelling through hazy conditions are advised to drive carefully and maintain a safe distance from other vehicles.
