- August 2017: Frustrated with not being given his boxing licence, Fury announces another retirement.
- April 2023: After defeating Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium, Fury retires at the post fight press conference.
- January 2025: Tyson Fury retires after his second loss to Oleksandr Usyk. Fury quotes Dick Turpin in the retirement announcement.
Retirement number six could be the official one.
