We had a great time showing 300 attendees at the @airbusbizlab Demo Day how our Halo UAV efficiently hovers, to perform close-up long-range inspections.
Nice to see some other composite aircraft in the Final Assembly Line too!

The major differences are that we don't require a bearing/slip-ring system for the wings, and the tail can be much smaller. Both aspects reduce the weight of the aircraft: Halo weighs only 2 kg and hovers for 80 minutes.

No sudden stop/start - it is a continuous transition. It has independent control of angle-of-attack for each wing/blade, allowing positive angle of attack in both modes.
