Labour MPs are proposing a £1m cap on UK-based donations to political parties.
So when Labour received large sums from Trade Union bosses, hedge fund managers and £5m from Dale Vince, it was fine.
Now that Refom are outdoing them with donations, Labour want to change the rules.
Because geographic and historic literacy is pretty abysmal in general, I just want to point out something about the Egyptian fans who turned football celebrations into riots over Palestine…
Gaza doesn’t only border Israel. It also shares a 13km border with Egypt at Rafah. That border isn’t open.
It is one of the most heavily fortified borders in the region. Egypt has spent years sealing tunnels, creating a buffer zone, constructing reinforced concrete walls, and maintaining strict military control over the crossing.
Egypt’s position has been that it does not want a mass influx of Gazan refugees, citing they already have issues with terrorism in the Sinai, the risk of Hamas operating from Egyptian territory, that Gaza’s would never leave, and national security concerns about it destabilising Egypt. Funny that they’re allowed to be worried about these things.
They also promote more politically strategic reasons like fears Palestinians would never be allowed to return to Gaza by Israel, that it would effectively end hopes for a future Palestinian state, and that it could make Egypt a target of Israel.
But essentially Egypt has many of the same security arguments that Israel puts forward!
So why are the Egyptian football hooligans in London bellowing “Free Palestine”, not demanding more from their own govt?
Egypt could dismantle or open its own border to allow Gazans in through Rafah. If the answer to Gaza’s humanitarian crisis is unrestricted movement into neighbouring countries, then that expectation applies to Egypt as much as it does to Israel. Right?
My point is that “Free Palestine” is often presented as though Israel alone controls every border, decision and possible humanitarian outcome. That’s not geographically or politically true.
And if you don’t think Egypt should have to open its borders because it has legitimate security concerns, then you’ve accepted that the situation is more complicated than a slogan shouted during a football celebration so perhaps it applies to Israel too.

Listen to the three Green Party members of the @LondonAssembly as they abstain rather than vote to commend the bravery of the @metpoliceuk officers who saved lives in Golders Green last April:
Zack Polanski, Caroline Russell and Benali Hamdache
All other members voted ‘for’
@ClaireCoutinho Ed's brother David fixed the Climate Change Act in 2006/7. Eight pals of George Soros were involved incl Blair. David Miliband was given a £1million Soros linked job. Brown, Cameron, report author Stern, CCC chair Turner and Al Gore who fixed Live Earth 2007 are Soros pals too!
Pastor has his church and home burned down by islamist mobs in Nigeria, they slaughtered 150 of his congregation.
No protests for Christians in Nigeria!
The UN remains silent!
“Net Zero: Let’s make UK energy the most expensive in Europe, shut our factories, destroy jobs and local economies, plaster solar panels over thousands of acres of farmland, spend £billions turning off wind turbines because we can’t use their energy supply, spend £30 billion on carbon capture machines, ban new oil and gas licenses in the North Sea but spend £40billion buying North Sea oil and gas from Norway, blame cow burps, reduce red meat consumption and freeze pensioners so global CO2 drops by 0.0003%. But we will also build hundreds of AI data centres that guzzle natural resources and energy. China’s still building coal plants like it’s 1950 but at least we get to feel superior while the rest of the world laughs over our sheer stupidity. Genius.”
Remember, the political establishment CAN pass a law to increase Keir Starmer’s pension but claims it CANNOT deport a foreign grooming gang ringleader.
Who Protected Labour's Rape Gang Leader?
Nine separate times Oldham Council and Greater Manchester Police let Daddy go while he was raping and selling the children.
The National Inquiry is now coming to Oldham with the power to compel witnesses. Before he is deported, should he be deported, Shabir Ahmed must be summoned to testify, and we must finally learn who protected him and why.
Read my latest here and you will understand, if you have not already, why Andy Burnham's police force helped falsify evidence and try to have me imprisoned.

For 8 years, I've exposed the cover-up of Pakistani rape gangs by police and politicians. Our campaign in Oldham forced a national inquiry. Now, we must compel this inquiry to investigate a place it wants to avoid: Andy Burnham's record.
As of last count, we had progressed to 305 new paid subscribers towards our 2,000 target. That's over 15% of our target in just over a week. Thank you.
Please, if you are yet to do so, upgrade now. With your support, we can send complicit politicians to prison. Isn't that prospect alone worth backing?

I’m Raja Miah MBE. For seven years, I led a campaign that exposed how senior Labour politicians helped protect Pakistani rape gangs. The people of my town EXPOSED ANDY BURNHAM and helped force the national inquiry.

In one of its last-ditch acts, this Labour Government has become even more unhinged.
A newly published Government green paper, Watch This Space, suggests forcing social media platforms to make content produced by public service broadcasters such as the BBC, ITV and Channel 4 “prominent and easily discoverable”.
It is truly shocking that a Western liberal democracy like the UK now thinks it is the Government’s job to decide what news its citizens should read and what is and isn’t deemed “trustworthy”.
In his latest article for The Spectator, the General Secretary of the Free Speech Union, Lord Young of Acton, says that the Government’s solution to the declining popularity of our legacy media appears to be protectionism.
He raises the possibility of President Trump — the leader of our closest ally — retaliating by forcing social media companies in the US to give greater prominence to domestically produced content. That would harm UK freelance content producers and could also damage the very broadcasters the Government is trying to protect.
Lord Young also makes a serious point about the shift away from traditional news sources, noting that: “The reason the BBC now attracts fewer viewers than YouTube is because people don’t trust it – and with good reason”.
But Lord Young has also exposed what may be Labour’s real objective: bringing Britain’s free press under state control.
Chapter 2 of the green paper suggests Labour may legislate to require social media providers to boost “local and national news publishers” as well as public service broadcasters. This could be a backdoor way of persuading newspapers and magazines to accept state regulation of the press.
That has long been a goal of figures such as Ed Miliband, Harriet Harman and Andy Burnham, following the failure to implement this recommendation from the Leveson Inquiry. Now they may have another opportunity to hobble the free press.
Lord Young has said: “This could be just the ticket, since news publishers would have a powerful incentive to ‘voluntarily’ sign up to a state-controlled regulator, knowing they’d face a huge competitive disadvantage if they didn’t. It could also be a way of doing it without incurring the wrath of the press, since editors are constantly bellyaching about losing eyeballs to algorithmically promoted digital news content. There would be a benefit to submitting to state regulation, as well as a cost.”

It is important that the world does not remain silent about today’s utterly cynical Russian attack against our people. Thank you for your words of condolence and your willingness to help us. Defending against ballistic missiles is impossible without a sufficient number of missiles for Patriot systems. This is our greatest priority right now. We discussed which partners can help and how exactly. We will work on this.
Alex noted the successes of our warriors on the front. Everyone can see how the situation is shifting in Ukraine’s favor and how effective the long-range sanctions are. This is the right kind of pressure on Russia. We are looking for formats to reinvigorate diplomacy. We exchanged views on ideas that could help and coordinated our next steps.
We also discussed our bilateral defense cooperation. We are preparing to conclude important agreements in the near future. Thank you, Alex. Thank you, Finland!
Labour's Prisons Minister just said the quiet bit out loud.
He was asked if he knows who they are letting out of prison early.
His answer: "It is impossible for us to say who will be released, where and when".
BUT he can say it includes rapists, abusers and domestic abusers.
This is extraordinary.
Labour is banning asylum seekers from being housed near schools and nurseries.
An admission they pose a threat to children.
In which case:
1) why are they not detained?
2) why are they allowed to stay at all?
Labour is knowingly sacrificing British children at the altar of open borders.
WE NEED A GENERAL ELECTION NOW
Russia is already lying about Kyiv, pretending this was about “military targets.”
Hotels are burning. Apartment blocks are burning. Civilians are still trapped under the rubble.
I went on @SkyNews to say the obvious: Russia is talking absolute shit.
There will be carnage amongst hospices and care homes in the UK if the #assistedsuicide bill passes.
In France, where their bill has gone further: 'The Little Sisters of the Poor, who care for 2,500 elderly residents in some thirty homes across France, have categorically refused to "take lives" in their facilities, even if it means closing some homes or pursuing multiple legal challenges.'

In an astonishing act of authoritarian overreach, NI Justice Minister Naomi Long has introduced an amendment via an Annex L (below) to the Police & Criminal Evidence (Northern Ireland) Order 1989.
All to ensure that a man who claims to be a 'woman' can be strip searched by a female officer.
This Annex talks of 'predominant lifestyle' - but what on earth does this even mean?
And it also talks of 'efforts' to find a willing officer to consent to strip search these men - for 'efforts' read brow-beating female officers.
What an unholy, undemocratic, unaccountable and misogynistic mess.

There have been at least two major rape stories in London in the last 24 hours.
Neither of these were mentioned on BBC London's lunchtime news, which devoted almost half of the entire bulletin to an item that revealed a drag queen is performing in a stage show.
In other countries, governments give tax breaks to private schools. They love it when parents choose not to ask the state to bear the full cost of their children's education, and try to be helpful.
In Britain, uniquely, economics and education are subordinated to spite.
The BBC refused to cover this. The British Parliament refused to discuss it. Ask yourself why. This is an official Hamas video showing children in Gaza being armed and trained to become terrorists. They received aid from Islamic Relief in Britain.
It is good to hear from couples reminding us of their wedding anniversary. Happy 5th wedding anniversary Prince and Fatsani 💖 . Your marriage is a testimony of Christ's love of the church. Remain united.
For years, the media called Israel paranoid.
But today, UNRWA just quietly fired 70 of its employees in Gaza because they were linked to terror organizations.
Israel was right all along. Why is the world still funding an agency that employs terrorists? It is time to defund UNRWA permanently.
