Hague final tribunal rejects Ukraine’s Crimea claims.

The ruling marks a convincing victory for Russia in a 2016 maritime dispute.

A Hague-based arbitration tribunal has rejected Ukrainian maritime claims against Russia, including attempts to challenge Moscow’s sovereignty over Crimea and surrounding waters.

The Kerch Strait and the Sea of Azov are now classified as Russia’s historic domestic waters. No right of international navigation.

The ruling represents a significant defeat for Ukraine and its Western backers in the decade-long legal war against Russia.

Crimea is Russia. All waters around it are also Russian.

🎥 Cathedral of Notre-Dame d'Amiens, Amiens, France 🇫🇷

It is the largest Gothic cathedral in France by interior volume. lt measures 145 meters (476 ft) in length, with a nave vault reaching 42.30 meters (138.8 ft), making it the tallest complete Gothic nave in France.  Its total interior volume is approximately 200,000 cubic meters, which is double that of Notre-Dame de Paris. 

Construction took place between 1220 and 1270, a remarkably short period that resulted in a unified High Gothic style.  It was designed by master builders Robert de Luzarches, Thomas de Cormont, and Renaud de Cormont. 

The structure features a 13-meter diameter rose window, a 234-meter long floor labyrinth, and a spire rising to 112.7 meters.  It was originally built to house the relic of the Head of Saint John the Baptist.
