@Honeyba18627773 @an_brasan From what I am hearing she let off or one canister went off and she jumped into the river to put her hair that was on fire out and the other canisters ignited. What the canisters were I have no idea. The thought is it was a failed suicide attempt.

@an_brasan Just speculating here I have heard it might have been an attempted suicide there have been at least one other suicide that didn’t make the news here in Arklow. A young man jumped off the roof of the shopping center and it wasn’t covered in any news outlets.

@KimPeterso62335 I saw the car after feeling the explosion on my boat about 500 meters from the location of the incident. The passenger area was completely destroyed and the boot and bonnet were in perfect shape. The explosion was definitely in the passenger area. I saw the silver Audi.

@an_brasan I saw the ambulance leave the lights were not on but the medical car had its lights on. A sailboat heard the explosion some 13 nautical miles south of Arklow.

@an_brasan New information apperantly a woman was in the car when it exploded still no word on what caused it. She was on fire or burnt and jumped into the river. She climbed or was helped out. That is why the RNLIB and the Coast Gaurd deployed. She was taken away by ambulance.
