@Belfast_Rubble Not in keeping with anything nearby, ugly looking eyesight from any angle. There must a race to build the highest cheapest looking eyesore.
@BBCNewsNI So how come Primark building was gutted by fire and bought back to life but this can't. Sickens me that the developers pick and choose what goes and stays. This would be awesome to see fully restored for use, instead of taking the easy route. @Belfast_Rubble
@Belfast_Rubble Will #belfaststories be all about how they destroyed historical and to be listed/listed buildings to build the monstrosity soulless glass steel box to tell us what we've lost.
@ulsterahs@Belfast_Rubble So what was the excuse of the developers/owners? The penalties aren't harsh enough. They could have been easily restored. I've seen worse conditions brought back to life . Another boring shitbox built by soulless people with money. Who passed the demolition?
@TheDeersHead1@Belfast_Rubble Any developer with even a drop of vision could bring this back quite easily and would be well remembered for it. As there are many excellent small businesses now that would love a place to grow. The North street area could be a small business city.
@Belfast_Rubble It would being amazing. And at least something to celebrate that we can save heritage.
BUT NO, THATS TOO HARD FOR THE BROWN ENVELOPE BRIGADE.
