On the recommendation of Tánaiste @SimonHarrisTD, the Government has approved the nomination of new Ambassadors for Ireland in Australia, Brazil and Sierra Leone, as well as our first Consul Generals in Melbourne and Málaga.

Comhghairdeachas to AIDA Queensland who celebrated 50 years of #irishdancing in Queensland at their Gala Ball last night. Formed in 1973, the first offical Irish Dancing Queensland State Championships were held at the Ascot State School in 1974.
It was incredible to see such a massive turnout of #GirlsinGreen supporters yesterday at the #FIFA Fan Festival Irish Takeover by @irishsupportqld. We will be cheering loud & proud for the team tonight & look forward to seeing the sea of green in the stands once again. #COYGIG
