Bay Area office is getting a proper boost from AI, even with SF vacancy still around ~33%.

Big names are taking big space: Anthropic grabbed the whole 420k SF building at 300 Howard (on top of more nearby), Databricks expanded in Sunnyvale, and OpenAI’s reportedly looking to add ~250k more in SF.

It's pretty clear what's happening: the best buildings are filling first, and with less new construction, the rest of the market could start tightening too.

New law (AB 723) says if a real estate photo is digitally altered / AI edited (virtual staging, removing stuff, changing views, etc.), it has to be clearly labeled. Also, agents have to provide the original, unedited photo right next to it (or via link/QR).
