@dublin_damo@iammeggan I read a book years ago about a bloke flying back to Ireland for some reason. On the plane, he saw a priest asleep; however, he could sense by the way the priest emanated evil that he was a Catholic brother.

@riversorare Without a clear sense of who we are and what we want, we're just doomed to be forever tweaking at the edges as the pot grows ever smaller.
@riversorare IMO, the country needs to decide what its values are, then incentivise that. If we support families, then let's incentivise it: 2p off income tax per kid, subsidised childcare, ability to give your spouse your full tax-free allowance.
