@navikating For context, spotted lanterflies are invasive and they are slowly destroying PA's environment. There are swarms of them everywhere. PSAs go out every year asking PA residents to help by killing as many as possible, so this is totally normal and good.

@RLStollar This was me as a kid. My parents could help up until Saxon algebra 1/2, and then I was totally on my own. Cheated my way up to advanced mathematics and then realized I needed math for the sat so I used khan academy to frantically teach myself everything I had missed.

@lovetogopee We throw out 4 10 gallon bags mostly full of leftovers at every meal at work😭. And that's not counting what we scrape off plates. Probably half of what the cook makes gets thrown out without ever being served. I hate it

@DiaryofaSickGrl An elderly male Dr once told 19 yr old me that my severe chronic pain and fatigue would go away if I scheduled a pap smear with him. Reported asap.

Dr I thought was taking me seriously about my pain took me off 200mg of gabapentin cause "it's a stronger pain med than you need"

@AutisticCallum_ And Salem witch trials, and the industrial revolution, which does tie into Victorian Era. I just keep remembering more😅. For a while, I would hyperfocus on a time period for about a year and then move onto a new one.

@AutisticCallum_ Lots lol- I went through phases as a kid. Victorian Era, civil war, holocaust, great depression, civil rights movement, Lewis and clark/Midwest expansion/Oregon trail/trail of tears time period, Korean and Vietnam Wars and aftermath, Middle Ages
