We studied Lewy body pathology in DS-associated Alzheimer’s using αSyn-SAA and explored its link to neuropathology.

4) Plasma neurofilament light (NfL) levels were higher in symptomatic αSyn-SAA positive cases.
5) CSF αSyn seeding activity was associated with high neocortical Lewy body pathology at autopsy.
These results provide novel insights into the contribution of αSyn pathology to DSAD.
