@AdamBryceThomas Obviously worldbuilding is more of a garnish to Sonic in terms of the games, but the one time (Pre-Frontiers) the games had present continuity from SA1 - 06, and some of those threads still lurk around in the modern day, just underaddressed its a broad problem, but important IMO.

@AdamBryceThomas Plot relevance because Shadow otherwise sits in a weird spot continuity wise—alongside Rouge and Omega—without them. Nevermind Unleashed’s towns / nations that were shown to be exclusively human. Big chunks of the world space that are now just kind of vaguely defined voids.
