Los inversores nunca habían utilizado tanto apalancamiento: La deuda con margen en EE. UU. se disparó en 83.000 millones de dólares en abril, alcanzando la cifra récord de 1,3 billones de dólares.

En los últimos 12 meses, la deuda con margen ha aumentado en 453.000 millones de dólares, un 53%.

Como resultado, la deuda con margen representa un récord del 5,2% del PIB estadounidense.

Esto supone unos 3 puntos porcentuales por encima del nivel anterior a la crisis financiera de 2008 y muy por encima del pico de la burbuja de las puntocom del año 2000.

When petroleum burns, it releases sulfur oxides, nitrogen oxides, and toxic hydrocarbons. When those mix with rain, they become sulfuric acid and nitric acid.

This is Tehran. 10 million people. Confined air basin surrounded by mountains. The smoke sits there.

Israel just hit multiple fuel storage complexes belonging to Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps. Massive fires. Black smoke over the entire city.

Every child breathing that air is absorbing toxins that will trigger cancers in 2046, 2056, 2066. Nobody will connect it. Nobody will pay for their treatment.

Nobody will be held accountable.

Collateral damage? More like creating a multi-generational health crisis.

"Let's Make Iran Great Again" is the bitter punchline here.
