I’m so happy with life rn. I woke up hungover, worked from home where I got paid to learn new skills to further my career, hung out with my favorite cousin, spontaneously got a tat, took myself out to dinner and I’m so content with life rn????

I am so incredibly happy for Knicks fans.
1994 was one of the most gut-wrenching Finals losses in NBA history.
Not getting back again until 1999, when Ewing had a torn Achilles and they were close to drawing dead to the Duncan-Robinson Spurs was a different type of cruelty.
And somehow never truly coming close in any season since then should have just been unfathomable. Instead, it was entirely predictable and at various times they were a national punch line.
To turn this season around from what it seemed like it was going to be (another promising but inevitably disappointing season), into what it became (the single most dominant month of playoff basketball from a margin of victory standpoint in the history of the NBA), is truly remarkable.
I am picking the Knicks in the Finals but more importantly I’ll be rooting for the Knicks in the Finals.
The NYC hoops fans deserve this moment.
