@sam_kb_ The equities one is puzzling because these are so clearly propped by AI companies which themselves aren’t profitable. Obviously no one can time the top but got to think the bubble will burst
@MacZidane@duncsteele@andyh2602@ScottishFA This is an outdated license list.
As of March 2026, Edinburgh City were entry. The same as Linlithgow.

@Dico22@MrBenGrant@OfficialCatchup I think Linlithgow have missed the grace period though which would be on them.
However (and I imagine is the case), the SPFL are far more lenient with the length of grace period to existing clubs. Which isn’t fair.
@Dico22@MrBenGrant@OfficialCatchup Same as Inverness and Hamilton who were downgraded and got a points deduction.
SPFL can’t give LR a points deduction but can (and should) refuse entry if all reqs not met which is on LR and no one else.
@Dico22@MrBenGrant@OfficialCatchup They got theirs downgraded whilst being existing members of the league and got a points deduction.
Linlithgow aren’t members of the league.
@MrBenGrant@OfficialCatchup After the entry licensing thing came in. That’s a separate issue and is probably unfair but again this was already known.
The rule should be adjusted to allow the highest place bronze license holder to contest the playoff. Same way the rule for winner is highest non-B team
@MrBenGrant@OfficialCatchup Even if it is an admin thing rather than a hoarding money thing, they still knew the rules. It isn’t the SPFL / SFA’s fault they didn’t submit what they needed to.
Clubs in the SPFL who don’t have the license is because the bronze requirement was brought in for new clubs
@Gorgie61066@pieandbov@GorgieOpinion I think the issue with that would be you have a team with a free matchday. They could be disadvantaged if their free matchday was the final game of the season
