Debunking the Phantom Debts and Ecological Loan Fallacy
My attention has been drawn to trending claims by the Anambra State Government that my administration left behind inherited debts, including a ₦2 billion ecological loan, contractor liabilities, and unpaid salaries, gratuities, and pensions. This is completely false.
We systematically liquidated historical gratuities and arrears dating back several years, amounting to over ₦35 billion. At the point of handover, the state owed nothing in salaries, gratuities, or pensions, nor did we owe anything to any contractor for projects duly executed and certified.
The ₦2 billion ecological fund in question was released barely three months before the end of my tenure for the Oko/Umuchiana erosion crisis. Despite pressure to spend the money, I refused, insisting that it should be left for my successor because government is a continuum and the funds were tied to a specific project.
The money was therefore left 100 per cent intact in First Bank, in Account No. 2018779464, with a balance of over ₦2.13 billion.
It is important to stress that funds tied to specific projects or set aside for particular purposes were not even included in the over ₦75 billion in savings we left behind.
If anybody can establish anything to the contrary, I will stop campaigning. -PO
Good morning, welcome to another week of grace...
I don't know what you may be going through right now, don't loose hope, do not loose focus, let your mind be stable, trust God, have hope in His promises.....
...I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water.
The ONE Who divided the red sea will make a way for you,
The Lord is making the impossible possible for you this week and for the rest of this year, your mouth will speak about the goodness of God,
Isaiah 41:10
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys...
This is the promise and assurance from your Maker, your Father to you this morning, The One Who knows all about you, in Who's palm you are carefully inscribed

Isaiah 41:10
Whether your rent has expired, you're battling with sickness, the economy is eating you up, your marriage is faced with challenges and difficulties, friends are nowhere to be found, maybe your family has even abandoned you, are you depressed in any way, turn to God because.......
I was sent out of Canada
Yes that’s why I came back home a few months ago
Yep, you read that right.
So I came into Canada with a spousal open work permit. And when it was about to expire, we applied for an extension.
And we were just about our business waiting for the extension to come out only for us to get a rejection mail. This came at a crucial time as there was a change of government and rapid immigration policy changes.
Omo, everywhere first blur. Premium tears everywhere
We did not see it coming at all. And I had a few days to leave the country ASAP.
My husband wanted to start running around seeing how to appeal the rejection without me leaving but I just told him “babe let’s leave it. I’ll go.”
I was not sure what God was doing but I trusted Him. And so I came back to Nigeria.
I went about my Fathers business like nothing dey sup. Trusting the one who has called me.
Then the dots began to connect.
Then came Covabodi festival. You know how that went to the glory of God
Then came brand ambassadorial roles.
If I tell you the other things God helped me achieve in this trip ehn, you’ll open your mouth in wonder.
Like, I began to understand that Canada did not send me away. God brought me back to carry out specific assignments.
One morning we woke up and I got a email.
“Congratulations Deborah, you’re now a permanent resident of Canada”
Yup. You’re looking at the latest Canadian permanent resident.
When I flew into Canada last week, I bounced in there like a madam.
I’m sharing this testimony to let you know that you need to trust God completely with your life.
You see that scripture that says all things work together for good? I need you to believe it with everything inside of you
Your wedding plans scattered? It’s working for your good
They served you breakfast? It’s working for your good
You did not get that opportunity? It’s working for your good.
Be pro-active, play your part, send in the application, do all that you should do and leave the rest to God
You may not see what God is doing in the moment, but as long as you’re faithfully serving and following God, just trust Him.
The dots will connect
And you will look and say “oh, Father so this is what you had in mind.”
Celebrate with me jare. God don run am🥳🥳
PS: Peep my resident card🥰
Blessings!
Dear Nigerians,
Fifteen National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members were kidnapped in Kogi State on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, while returning from their orientation camp in Bayelsa State.
They were traveling to Abuja with Peace Mass Transit. They were intercepted along the Ofu/Itobe–Onicha-Igo axis in Ofu Local Government Area. The passenger manifest is attached.
The person in the video is the sister of one of the abducted victims. Please lend your voice & kindly share or retweet. They need to be rescued & reunited with their loved ones. 🙏
A must-watch for every YOUNG minister of the gospel.
This man has been in ministry for 70 years.
When he was asked what he advises every young minister to do,
hear the two most important things he recommended:
Weep not, Messi.
One game cannot define a legacy built over decades.
You are one of the greatest to ever play the game.
The records, the magic, the memories — they will never be erased.
Legends live forever. 🐐
@OBAF4U@FinPlanKaluAja1 Be rest assured that the same government that gave him food today will make him pay dearly for all his past indictment before 2023 election, Ambassador is a weapon to keep his mouth shut for now, although it also tells so much about us as a nation, but na strategy.
@MaziPatrickESQ@FinPlanKaluAja1 He was never a good man; he merely lacked the opportunity to reveal who he truly was. Privilege disguised his flaws as virtue until a bigger ambition arose. A man's true character is not known until power, ambition, and opportunity collide.
@FinPlanKaluAja1 A wolf in sheep's clothing—without the fear of God, bankrupt in character, and empty of integrity. In a genuine democracy, he wouldn't be near public office. The day President Tinubu sacks him, activism will start again. He won't be an Ambassador after 2027 election.
