Last night, I read the entirety of C.S. Lewis' The Screwtape Letters. It's a novel told in the form of letters written by a demon to another demon instructing him on ways to manipulate his "patient" to do evil.
This one quote sounded familiar.
@elmejordelresto That's cool, I love street circuits and am not interested in oval track racing but honestly that pace looks like a cool down lap in Formula 1 in comparison, almost slow motion. Watch Baku, Monaco, Singapore, even Mexico in F1 and you'll see what I mean.
@ILikeItRed1@NathanBozeman2 I had this happen to me once. It was a LOUD, firm voice telling me to "STOP!", not just slow down. I hit the brakes and stopped as fast as possible and crested a steep hill and on the other side was a herd of deer in the middle of the road and I stopped just in time.
Brits were "asked where the UK ranks vs US states in income per person. Average answer: 7th. Wealthier than 43 states.
The reality: 51st. Dead last. Below Mississippi. Below Arkansas. Below every single US state."

I’ve been sent countless questions since millions of Americans saw my interview with the former IRS agent (now, whistleblower) Joe Banister last week, where he claimed that 99% of Americans are not legally required to file and pay income taxes.
How can Americans really organize a national tax revolt? Won’t we all end up in prison?
Can’t the IRS just seize our bank accounts?
What if my employer takes taxes directly from my paycheck?
I can’t answer those questions for you or tell you what to do, but Peymon Mottahedeh, the founder of Freedom Law School, can!
Californians were promised high-speed rail by 2020 for $33B.
Instead: costs ballooned to $128B, zero usable track, no trains—just massive mismanagement and waste.
I joined @60Minutes to expose the details.
Tune in Sunday.
