The country has sacrificed too much—our institutions, our democracy, and far too many lives—for the survival of people who believe they are above accountability.
one thing is clear right now: sara’s impeachment will probably never happen, and bato will stay free while being protected by those shameless demons in power.
and who suffers because of all this? the filipino people.

calling protests useless is the privilege of those who aren’t being oppressed. for the silenced, the hungry, and the abused, protests are a weapon of survival. if you feel comfortable enough to dismiss them, then you’re living off the comfort built on someone else’s suffering.
na para bang hindi violence yung nararanasan ng taumbayan.... corruption starves, injustice kills. it might not always look like a fist or a gun but it inflicts real harm.

idk if anyone else had this experience as a kid but chat gpt etc and its effects on critical thinking reminds me of using a walkthrough for a video game and then getting the urge to look at the walkthrough for any minor difficulty encountered instead of thinking about it
