first we must:

• collect every piece of elfroot the hinterlands
• maybe complete a mosaic
• fight (and die to) a dragon whilst massively underlevelled
• close every rift in a 200 mile radius
• read some books
• get over accidentally killing a fennec
• do some horse racing
• collect some rocks
• fight someone’s undead grandad
• solve literally everyone else’s problems but our own
• grab a shard or 2 before forgetting about them for the rest of the game
• try finding treasure map locations before giving up and looking it up online

Then and only then will we go to val royeaux <3
