Unfortunately, the majority of children in care will not realise that they’re feeling dysregulated, how can young people be taught to recognise that their nervous system is dysregulated? Regards.

Is it worth submitting an FOI to all LAs in England to access data on the number and reasons of safeguarding incidents in unregulated accommodation, to highlight the National picture which could be powerful? Regards

Schedule 6 of the regs includes safety, is it possible to use safeguarding as a reason in your appeal for not placing CIC aged 17 in unregulated accommodation? Is there any data to evidence that many unregulated placements are unsafe, as we know many are? Regards

We hope @reviewCSC & @JoshMacAlister recommend that Gov instruct Ofsted to check that legislation for CIC is delivered by LAs as they currently don't do this, see attached Yvette Stanley clarifies that compliance with legislation is only checked "where relevant" not as standard

One of the many areas where Gov conveniently fail to collect data/evidence on outcomes for children in care. Perhaps it’s to avoid knowing what the reality is for these young people. Or is it to avoid transparency and accountability? Thanks for the JR updates
