For a predator, the elaborate schemes and deception is kinda the point. It reinforces their contempt for the victim, how stupid she is, how easily/eventually she can be duped and manipulated, etc. And the feeling of contempt itself turns them on. Sex is never about connection for predators. It’s about the chase, domination, then annihilation.
