Lagu dari musisi muda Indonesia sungguh segar dan ga ada habisnya. Bukti kalau kualitas ga akan mati kalau kreativitas ga dibatasi. Produksi sendiri, distribusi lewat medsos tetap bisa orisinal. Keren.
📍Earthquake waves are basically of two types — body waves and surface waves.
✅Body waves: They are generated due to the release of energy at the focus and move in all directions travelling through the body of the earth. Hence, the name body waves. The body waves interact with the surface rocks and generate new set of waves called surface waves.
✅Surface waves: These waves move along the surface. The velocity of waves changes as they travel through materials with different densities. The denser the material, the higher is the velocity. Their direction also changes as they reflect or refract when coming across materials with different densities.
📍There are two types of body waves. They are called P and S-waves.
✅P-waves or ‘primary waves’ move faster and are the first to arrive at the surface. The P-waves are similar to sound waves. They travel through gaseous, liquid and solid materials.
✅P-waves vibrate parallel to the direction of the wave. This exerts pressure on the material in the direction of the propagation. As a result, it creates density differences in the material leading to stretching and squeezing of the material.
✅S-waves or secondary waves arrive at the surface with some time lag. They can travel only through solid materials. This characteristic of the S-waves is quite important. It has helped scientists to understand the structure of the interior of the earth.
✅The direction of vibrations of S-waves is perpendicular to the wave direction in the vertical plane. Hence, they create troughs and crests in the material through which they pass. Surface waves are considered to be the most damaging waves.
📍Shadow zones
✅There exist some specific areas where the waves are not reported by seismograph. Such a zone is called the ‘shadow zone’. The study of different events reveals that for each earthquake, there exists an altogether different shadow zone

This city is not in Italy, France, or Germany.
It's in China and it's less than ten years old.
This is Huawei's R&D Headquarters, where 25,000 people work, and it might just be the most interesting office building(s) in the world...
Besok akan menjadi kali kedua saya menggunakan hak pilih dalam pemilu. Dirty Vote hanya memperkuat alasan untuk tidak memilih yang diprediksi menang satu putaran :) #PemiluIndonesia
Capek jg berdebat selama dua setengah jam. Tapi bisa saling menimba ilmu meski kadang harus bersabar karena ada saja materi dan gimmick recehan. Terimakasih kpd netizen atas dukungan yang begitu bergelora.
These people lived on North Sentinel Island for 60,000 years, maintaining an isolated existence on this landmass in the Indian Ocean, comparable in size to Manhattan.
This small community, numbering between 80 to 150 individuals, has subsisted through hunting and gathering, a lifestyle reminiscent of the Stone Age. Notably, agriculture finds no place in their practices.
The island's isolation has been a shield against external contact, as attempts to engage with the Sentinalese have consistently been met with fierce hostility. Historical accounts reveal a pattern of encounters that underscore the steadfast determination of this isolated community to preserve their autonomy.
In 1771, some East India Company's ships glimpsed lights on the shores of North Sentinel Island but refrained from further investigation. Subsequent interactions with the outside world paint a vivid picture of the Sentinalese's unwavering resistance. In 1867, an Indian merchant ship, forced to land on the island due to harsh monsoons, faced a barrage of arrows from the islanders after three days. The crew's defense with basic weapons lasted until the Royal Navy intervened.
The year 1880 marked a disturbing episode when British forces returned to find a deserted village. In an ill-fated attempt to breach their isolation, six Sentinalese individuals were kidnapped. However, exposure to the outside world proved calamitous for them as they succumbed to illness. Another tragic incident occurred in 1896 when an escaped convict reached the island, meeting a gruesome end with arrows and a slit throat.
The most recent and perhaps the most widely publicized interaction occurred in 2018 when an American Christian missionary sought to convert the Sentinalese. Despite warning shots and clear signs of aggression from two armed islanders, the missionary persisted in approaching, expressing love and religious beliefs. The encounter ended tragically with the missionary's death by arrows, his body left unrecovered on the island's beach.
