Shame on our govt, this is a market in Kano where most of shops are now using solar power.
In the next few years Disco may be begging for customers, but why should anyone move to Discos that are unstable and with very expensive service
In Oyo state an APC politician distributed cups of rice to clearly impoverished and hungry people and they erupted in praises of his name.
The barbaric weaponisation of poverty and systemic mental dehumanisation of Nigerians by the APC is so sad to see. https://t.co/GaPjOil0td
“To start akara business doesn’t take a lot of money. To start roasting corn or kuli-kuli doesn’t take much. We have encouraged Nigerians as best as we could, we have given people a grant, I also gave to several others.”
-Remi Tinubu, First Lady of Nigeria.
Husband is building coastal highway.
Wife is telling people to roast corn and sell kulikuli by the roadside.
What kind of satanic leaders do we have?
"If you collect Bola Tinubu's money with the hope of bringing votes for him from the North, it's not too late to return the money.
We are coming out massively to vote out this Government in 2027"
A social media activist from Nasarawa State, known as Oscar, visited Governor A.A. Sule kneeling down crying, pleading for forgiveness. While the meeting was ongoing, former Governor and ex-APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu, who was present in the Governor’s office, strongly opposed forgiving the activist, citing his repeated insults against the Governor and members of the state cabinet.
May we never become slave to any politician.
When I was in Primary 2, I stole just 5 naira from my mother’s room to buy biscuits with my friends.
A relative saw me & reported it.
My mother called me for questioning. I lied & said na tsinta ne from our neighbour’s house.
The lie made her furious. She beat me mercilessly, slapped me, used cane, broke sticks on my body, then pressed a hot iron on my hand. 😭
I screamed in pain while neighbours watched from the window saboda ta rufe dakin begging her not to kill me.
At night, she woke me up with a knife in her hand & said “Baffa, if you don’t tell me the truth, I will kill you. I cannot live with a thief.”
Out of fear, I confessed.
Nan ta sake hada min na jaki iya son ranta saboda babu mai ceto na😭
The next morning, she dragged me into the bathroom & beat me again.
Many people said the punishment was too much… but that pain changed my life forever. Till today, I have never stolen anything again, no matter how small.
Moral: Sometimes harsh discipline plants deep fear that protects a child from a destructive future. Spare the rod & spoil the child is real.
What do you think was her punishment too extreme or necessary?
Drop your thoughts 👇😭

Former Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, in an exclusive Hausa interview with BBC Hausa, stated that Sen. Kwankwaso would remain his political godfather, noting that he served as Deputy Governor under him.
He added that before they came into power, he was politically superior to Kwankwaso.
He also recalled that in the 1999 election, they initially contested together, and he was asked to step down, after which Kwankwaso was forced to select him as his running mate in order to secure victory at that time.
In 2007, Kwankwaso, of his own volition, once again chose Ganduje as his running mate, with no one forcing the decision.
