I lived in Singapore for a few years.

Every time, I would board a metro, I would see literally 95% glued to their phones.

This was back in 2014.

Over the next few years, I saw the same thing happening in India as well.

Board a metro now-- and you would see almost 90-95% people glued to their phones.

People don't like to get bored.
Phone provides a constant stimulant.

But, boredom provides an opportunity to engage with your thoughts. And, reflect on the way you think.

Not getting bored, ever-- is one of the fastest ways to kill creative thinking.

Phone is an addition.

You are losing years of your life, without even realising it.

Her real name: Margaret Elizabeth Noble.
Born 28Oct 1867. An Irish teacher, later came into touch with Swami Vivekananda & came to India in 1898. She did some spectacular socials works in that era. Her hard work slowly started affecting her physically & in 1911 at the age of 44, she passed away in Darjeeling. 🙏🌺

Savarkar accepted that she was Irish & failed his first criteria of fatherland, but says that if India had been free ‘we’ would have given her citizenship. He said it because she adopted India & "truly loved it".

In the 2nd essential to be a Bharatiya, she did not marry an Indian. Savarkar gave her a pass here also, saying: "But although this 2nd essential failed, either way, to hold good in her case".
Savarkar knew this contradicted his own theory so he concluded.

I brought the reference to Bhagini Nivedita only because she was mentioned in the text of Savarkar who gave her a certificate for being a Bharatiya while she was not fitting the essentials.

As much as I have read till today haven't found a single condemnation by any Strong iron fist ladies in BJP for their leader's deep-seated male-supremacists prejudice at any time. They talk Naari-Shakti.

M.S. Gill Former Chief Election Commissioner of India disturbed by such vile sexist, misogynistic attacks on Sonia Gandhi during his tenure once said in a TV interview:

"In this country if we make such dirty comments about a woman then what type of people we are? What campaign is this? And what kind of nation we are? We are a country of 100crores. We are not rich & developed. The debate must be around unemployment & Better livelihood. If elections have any significance then the campaigns must be oriented on these topics."

What sin she made by marrying an Indian & remaining committed to him for all her life, accepting His nation's culture, society & attire leaving her earlier identity one day who kept abusing her at worst for decades (which is no way Bharatiya) must answer or apologise. 🙏
