Sometimes people feel sad for me that I have an alcohol allergy and can’t drink anything stronger than a Shirley Temple, but there is nothing quite like being the only sober person at a party. All the entertainment, none of the hangover.
@bshgarcia I wrestled with this issue while writing the second book in my Johnny Cannon series. I finally decided to weave in pertinent information from the first book throughout the first chapter, but still approached the opening pages as the attention grabber for the current story.
I haven't been a #teacher for over a year now, but passing the half-way point in July still gives me anxiety. Big hugs to all my teacher friends who are beginning to prep for next school year!
Here’s a question for anyone who has written and illustrated a hybrid novel. What software do you use? I’m thinking it will be a trifecta of Word/Photoshop/inDesign, but I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s an easier and simpler option.
