That’s why the “VERSUS” is being crushed by Isagi. He understands that he can’t beat Teddy head on when Teddy has no ego for him to devour.

So what does Isagi do?

He goes back to his EARLY BLUE LOCK WEAPONS: blind spot movement and interceptions. Remember his Blue Lock eye before half time? This is it.

He exploits Teddy’s blind spot, uses his Meta Vision and football IQ to outsmart Fox, and takes advantage of the situation instead of trying to overpower Teddy.

So Isagi didn’t surpass Teddy here. He outsmarted/surpassed Fox.

Remember, Isagi is trying to devour FOX, not Teddy.

So stop blaming the author for your own lack of reading comprehension.
