Angela Akoth, guard those ballot boxes round the clock. The NRM playbook is familiar: break seals, spoil just enough votes, then use a recount to overturn the result.

Take this from my own experience. After I won in 2001, RDC Ngoma Ngime tried the same trick. In my petition, Justice Musoke Kibuuka stopped the recount once broken seals were found—clear proof of tampering. He was later punished for that integrity.

That ruling is your precedent. Any box with broken seals must not be recounted. Stand firm. Good luck.

Between the 1960s and the 1980s, under the guise of "countering Communism," the CIA infiltrated Christian movements all over Africa and the Global South with the mission of steering Christian doctrines away from so-called "Liberation Theology" (teachings that encouraged people to stand up to corrupt governments and take collective action to better their lives), because this doctrine apparently was "Communist."

It funded and assisted the explosive growth of a whole new form of Christianity, which you recognise today as Prosperity Gospel, and it pumped millions of dollars into pushing it all over the Global South as part of its Cold War effort. This new doctrine ignored any kind of collectivism and encouraged people to see their Christian faith and salvation as individualistic issues that can be measured with specific individual outcomes, such as economic "blessing."

It was the perfect capitalist trojan horse because it convinced people to stop thinking of progress as a shared national issue and rather as an individual responsibility, which meant they did not need to organise into pressure groups, political movements, trade unions, student unions, or any other collectivist entities that the US government considered "Leftist" or "Communist." It succeeded wildly, and turned the world's poorest people in Sub Saharan Africa into rabid, money-obsessed capitalists without capital.

And in case you're wondering whether this means that all your mega pastors in Lagos and Abuja are US government-funded industry plants, the answer is simple: do a 1-minute Google search and find out where they all gained their theology degree or pastor training. There's your answer.

Anyway this is all on open record on the FOIA section of the CIA's own website, but the oyibos have convinced you that "Africans don't read," and you have internalised your own false stereotype, so you definitely won't read regardless. Your own border, your own allies, your own corporations profit from it.

You talk about terrorism.

Latin America is full of mass graves and dictatorships installed, trained, and armed by Washington.

And you dare to call a blockaded country a "foreign terrorist organization" for the crime of refusing to hand over its oil.

A blockade is not a policy.

It is an act of war carried out with banks instead of bombs.

It starves civilians.

It denies medicine.

It crushes currency.

It manufactures the humanitarian crisis you then use as justification for more aggression.

Venezuela did not "steal" anything from you.

Those oil fields were not born with an American flag on them.

What you call "our assets" are contracts that a sovereign nation chose to end.

You are not demanding justice.

You are demanding restitution for lost privileges.

Strip away the rhetoric, and the message is simple:

The "largest armada" is not there to defend America.

It is there to discipline a country that chose sovereignty.

It is a message to every nation in the Global South:

If you nationalize, we will strangle you.

If you de-dollarize, we will isolate you.

If you resist, we will call you terrorists.

Venezuela is not the thief in this story.

Venezuela is the house that finally changed the locks.

And the fact that you call its oil "ours" is all the proof anyone needs that the biggest foreign terrorist organization in this equation is not in Caracas.

Billionaire Aliko Dangote criticizes government official Farouk Ahmed over alleged $5 million tuition fees for his four children's Swiss education

Business mogul Aliko Dangote has criticized the Chief Executive of the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority
(NMDPRA), Farouk Ahmed, over excessive spending on his children's education and mismanagement in Nigeria's oil sector.

Dangote said:
"Nigeria is supposed to be the refining hub of not even West Africa, but of the sub-Saharan Africa region. We have the crude and we have the refineries. If our own continues to work, we have the NNPC refineries. A million tons can feed the entire West Africa and Central Africa. And I don't know why we should continue to allow some corrupt government officials to try and destroy the whole sector of the economy."

Ahmed's children's education,
Dangote stated:
"I've actually had people making complaints about a regulator who put his children in secondary school and that secondary school education, which is six years for four of them, cost Nigeria five million dollars. Even my own children, they didn't go to those schools; my children went to Nigerian secondary school."
He added:
"Today, as we speak, the authority's chief executive, Mallam Farouk, has four children that he educated in Switzerland at the cost of five million dollars for their secondary school education alone, not university."

Dangote questioned the fairness of such spending:
"His income does not match paying this kind of fees. At least, even if it was me paying five million dollars for six years for my four children, the tax man has to look at my taxes. We won't allow this kind of thing to continue. People who have done something wrong must be prosecuted."

He contrasted this with the struggles of ordinary Nigerians:
"Some children from Sokoto are struggling to pay 100,000 naira as school fees for secondary school. The man must come out and explain to Nigerians how he paid five million dollars for six years for his children's education. We can't allow this to continue."
