@yancebu @xuderaluap @iamjustindizon This is true. But if you believe intervention programs, rehabilitation and counseling are sufficient consequences for a minor who stole a gun, fired 40 rounds at a school, killed 4 people and injured 20 others, then you’re entitled to that opinion.

@crash_ice @xuderaluap @iamjustindizon Not true. When he reaches the right age RA 9344 will still apply because he committed the crime when he was still a minor. Wala po sinasabi na batas na once he reaches legal age, he can be tried at regular courts.

Quite unfair for the 15 yo when he fired a single shot, while the 14yo fired around 40 rounds, reloaded, killed four people, injured several others and clearly acted with discernment. But what can we do, the law is the law.

@cvmalaya Madam, dont let your idolism blind you that you miss the bigger picture. The children acted knowing that RA 9344 existed and that it would protect them. I’m not saying Kiko deserves all the blame, but you can’t pretend that this law played no role in what happened.
