The District Administration Islamabad has enforced revised business operating hours under ongoing austerity measures, effective today (1 June 2026). Markets, shops and shopping malls will close at 8:00 PM, while restaurants, grocery stores, bakeries and other food outlets will operate until 10:00 PM. Marriage halls, marquees and other event venues will also close at 10:00 PM. Essential services, including pharmacies, hospitals, petrol pumps, dairy shops, sports facilities, call centers and IT companies serving international clients, remain exempt from the restrictions.

The Office of the District Magistrate, ICT Islamabad has issued a notification regarding revised closing timings for markets, businesses, and commercial activities in light of ongoing austerity measures.

Shops, Markets & Shopping Malls
All will close at 08:00 PM throughout the week.
Exemptions: pharmacies, hospitals, petrol pumps, dairy shops, sports facilities, and IT/call centers.

Restaurants, Grocery Stores & Food Outlets
To close at 10:00 PM (takeaway & delivery services remain unaffected).

Marriage Halls & Event Venues
To close at 10:00 PM, including events held at private premises.

Effective From: 05 May 2026 (until further orders)

Citizens and business owners are requested to ensure strict compliance with the notified timings.

مری روڈ سے کلب روڈ سے ریڈزون تک ٹریفک کے لئے ڈائیوشنز ہیں۔ ان شاہراوں پر تمام پبلک ٹرانسپورٹ کا داخلہ بند ہے۔

ٹرانسپورٹرز سے گزارش ہے کہ وہ بس سٹاپس یا لوپس پر کھڑے نہ ہوں۔ ریڈزون اور توسیعی ریڈزون ہر قسم کی آمدورفت کے لئے بند رہے گا۔

۱)کشمیر چوک کلب روڈ سے جانب زیرو پوائنٹ سرینگر ہائی وے ،
۲)سری نگر ہائی وے، زیرو پوائنٹ سے جانب سرینا چوک،
۳)شکر پڑیاں روڈ، چاندتارہ چوک سے جانب سیونتھ ایونیو ،
۴)جناح ایونیو، خیابان چوک سے جانب بلیو ایریا، اور
۵)فیصل چوک سے ٹریل 3 تک مارگلہ روڈ ٹریفک کے لئے بند رہیں گے۔

شہریوں سے گزارش ہے کہ ماسوائے ایمرجنسی غیر ضروری سفر سے گریز کریں۔شہری متبادل ٹریفک پل��ن کے مطابق سفر کرسکتے ہیں۔
