Jayviks would rather silence and account-camp folks who are speaking out against anti-blackness to protect their reputation than actually make their fandom a safe place for everyone. Y'all ain't victims.
I've been mass-blocked just by choosing to side with and support Meltwt.
they easily could have engaged with both fanbases they could have put love and care into the promotion of both and surely would have had great engagement but they chose to be antiblack over and over and over again despite fans voicing their concerns
Guys dont give money to companies that dont respect mel at all. There are several lovely artists in the community who put more care into mel merch. There's crocheted dolls by cinegreekchic and enamel pins by valtassi on etsy, and of course the @melmedardazine to name a few! ✨️
It's so easy to ship and participate in fandom without being a racist, misogynistic ghoul, yet it's so common. Yt queers love talking about how woke and inclusive fandom spaces are, unless you're a black person who wants to talk about how fandom culture is often very antiblack!!!
four months later shes finally here - the frame by frame animation of caitvi's first kiss😭huge thanks and so much love to all 72 of the incredible artists who participated 💞💞💞!!! (inspired by #TimeToFrameIt#LetThereBeFrames#EVERYFrameMatters :) )
@leviaanaa Honestly, I hope so. I think seeing them again would weaken their ending in arcane.
This might just be personal preference, but I can't think of anything a future story could do, that would make their current story better
@redvelvik Something I see a lot in fandom, is that jokes become characterization
With Jayce it's: himbo, puppy/dog, bookstreet, child murderer, etc.
It's starts of as light hearted jokes and they're funny.
Then people actually start to characterize him that way and it becomes weird
@redvelvik I didn't have a problem with it in the beginning. I mean I kinda get it with him being a people pleaser and stuff
But people became weird about very quickly and now I just get icky every time I see it
