one thing about the food discourse: let’s learn to appreciate our own delicacies. this doesn’t mean you have to like every dish, but it’s important to recognize the culture, history, and love behind them. not everything has to suit our taste for us to appreciate its value. :)
+ you can make your point without being rude, hostile, or vile. disagreeing with someone should never require insulting them or making them feel bad for what they like or don’t like.
daily reminder to everyone that no matter how heated these ulam discourses get, i hope we remember that people have different tastes and preferences. if you don’t like a certain food, that's completely fine—but there’s no need to associate yourself with it, make hate posts, or +
attack people who enjoy it. at the end of the day, it’s just food. maybe it’s better to mind our own business, respect each other’s preferences, and not turn something as simple as ulam into a reason to hurt someone.
