Starting with the CFs you see a variety of profiles w/ one thing in common - they score goals. Woods is a pure goal scorer while you can see why Tankersley was named the Forward of the Year - love to see that def work from a CF!

The caveat being that these defending metrics (red) are more of a refection of team style and can be quite low for teams that attack more than they defend (see Reale+UCLA). It would be nice if Wyscout provided more per defensive action type metrics.

@KieranJ_1979 @SBunching It’s a tool in the toolbox that may seem irrelevant until it’s useful. I’ve only used a heat map once but it was worth while. One image convinced our left winger that she wasn’t providing the width we needed from the position. Clearly showed her clogging up the space of our AM.
