🏅Congrats to Ashwin Appu who was named Player of the Match in the recent 3XI Grand Final against Melbourne.

Ash bowled nearly 23 overs for the fine figures of 4/17, including 13 maidens and at an economy rate of 0.74.

Remarkable start to the ISEC season last Saturday. There were four ties: U17A Boyce comp, Oakleigh v Bayswater; U15C Majtilis comp, Carnegie v Ashwood; U13C Williams comp, Toorak Prahran Green v Oakleigh, Malvern v Toorak Prahran Purple. Four ties from about 120 games.

Quite a few @vicpremcricket clubs keen on Malvern CC prospect Will Beattie, but he'll have another season in Subbies. The 19-year-old allrounder last Thursday took the VSDCA 's Anthony Gale Medal as best Under 21 player, the third Rooster to receive the award.
