For those asking me for a breakdown on how I calculated my 4,000cedis profit on SIC shares from my 900cedis initial investment, this is how I calculated it.
In This video I also explain:
- Sell & Buy Volume
- CSD account (IC Wealth) & Omnibus System (Black Star App)
- Who process your orders go through before your purchases or sales of shares are successful executed.
- How to calculate your profits when your stock prices appreciates.
Kindly note that this video is for educational purposes and I advise you do some research before investing in any stock.

What am I trying to say?
Do not look at share price alone.
CAL at GHS 0.90 looks cheaper than GCB at GHS 36.00.
But the calculation says GCB is cheaper. It has a Lower P/E, higher EPS, and actual dividend.
Want to learn how to spot these value traps yourself?
My book First Steps teaches you exactly how.

CAL has a lower share price than GCB.
But GCB is actually cheaper.
Let me explain why price alone will fool you every time. π§΅π

And there it is.
ZEN just landed at GHS 10.00 flat. Down another -8.76% today.
The massive wall of sellers at GHS 10.96 finally blinked. They lowered their prices. They hunted for buyers further down.
Patience paid off.
GHS 10.00 is not just a number. It is a psychological battleground.
In stock markets worldwide, double-digit round numbers are where buyers step out of the shadows.
Investors who refused to buy at GHS 12.50 will see GHS 10.00 as a massive discount.
This is where floors are built.
Let me put ZEN's drop in perspective.
The stock listed at GHS 5.00. Even after today's -8.76% drop, early IPO investors are still up 100%.
That is a 2x return.
What you are watching right now is the final extraction of early profit-taking. Then ZEN transitions into a mature, steadily traded equity.
I think this is the time to begin scaling in.
Where's MTNGH going?
What trend does the traded volumes reveal?
Looking at the data, the volume spike of 8.8M shares on May 26 acted as the catalyst that moved the price from Β’6.73 down to Β’6.51.
This price stagnation on heavy volume is what we define as "Churning"βan institutional dump where high market effort from large players results in minimal price movement.
It is worth noting that this heavy distribution followed a period where the price was driven up by notably smaller volumes, such as the 374K and 411.9K trades seen in the days preceding the 8.8M spike.
Volume has tapered off to 266.9K as of June 3, leaving the stock in a consolidation phase.
The Β’6.51 level has clearly emerged as a crucial support level to watch, and it will be interesting to monitor if this floor holds now that the elevated institutional volume has subsided.
I was looking at ZEN's graph for a while yesterday on @isedan and I was thinking: is this a healthy graph?
I concluded: Yes.
Why?
It reflects an incredibly strong, fundamentally backed company that the market valued highly upon listing.
The tiny dip you saw yesterday is just the market taking a pause after a massive shoot.
When a stock shoots straight up without stopping, it creates what we call a bubble risk.
Now, a slight pullback or a period where the price moves sideways (consolidation) is actually a good sign.
If you've been investing for a while you were expecting this minor drop, and let me add this: it is completely normal for early holders to sell a small portion of their shares to lock in those massive cash gains.
Because an unrealised gain is just money on paper money. You cannot spend spend it.
If you want to learn how to read graphs like a good investor, I break it down simply in the First Steps.
