@tsbray A1 #isedcoach I have initiated projects for students that help them be global citizens with collaborative learning and activities. I look forward to include more integrated and project bases learning, in association with different subject level teachers.
@gderry 2- we created a teacher log to use as a team (each have our own copy of it) to track touch points and engagements. I’m finding it’s sooo hard to do as Im back to back all day- but telling myself it’s like formative in the classroom- vital to directing next steps #isedcoach
@tsbray We just started our Pineapple Chart this week and as coaches will sub in when teachers want to observe in other classrooms https://t.co/hZM5JPund9 #isedcoach
@gderry@tsbray Yes! So glad the balance has shifted greatly in weighing urgent vs important. Far less urgent things happening and it's ok to recognize that. #isedcoach
A6: Focus on the people and relationships first. Whether you're new or returning to your school, develop and nurture care for the people you work with-little personal connections early on will make it possible to move mountains later #isedcoach
A6. Listen more than you talk. Remember we're still in the midst of a global pandemic and everyone (including you) is going to deal with that stress differently. We might be in the same storm, but you don't truly know what's happening in other people's boats. Be kind. #isedcoach
A5: Some big activities this year, deep learning not without stress and stretch (all good), so I need the kindness of sleep to be a little more in my world lol… #isedcoach
A3: Last year was busy, with an almost-full teaching load on top of coaching. This year is way different (yay) so getting into classrooms for regular pop-ins and chats is at the top of my priority list. My actions will define my role, so I want to make it count! #isedcoach
A3: Trying to re-direct Tech/IT help requests and trying to better document my informal coaching conversations with teachers. (Already behind in week 3 ha!) Need to set personal reminders and check-in points #isedcoach
A2: Personal goal - I'm hoping to start my Masters this January! Yikes! In order to survive, I will also be working on balancing my time and making time for self-care so my batteries can recharge! #isedcoach
A2: We're actually right in the midst of developing protocols and facilitating our divisional and team goal-setting processes which will lead to our coaching team goal. Personally: new media lab, creative use/integration & supporting new student digital leadership team #isedcoach
A4: #isedcoach
Building my repertoire of online training sessions - webinars, zooms, groups, 1:1.
It's out of my comfort zone and like everything that is out of my comfort zone gets tackled with a sledgehammer! Excited isn't the word but I'm reframing!
