At the JIAs 2024, @NicoLosilla presented @MarieLarrieu_ 's anthracological studies on the management of arboreal resources in Perpignan during the 15th-16th centuries. This study was made possible thanks to the Master's students she supervised ! @umontpellier@isemevol
From late August to mid-September, @MarieLarrieu_ went to the @AMadinatAlbalat excavation! On the program: intensive sieving, and training the excavation team⛏️to use the flotation machine!

I'm Marie Larrieu, a PhD student in anthracology at @isemevol , and I'm working on the archaeobotany aspect of the ISEMA project. I study the management of wooded landscapes and fruit arboriculture in medieval Spain and southern France.
