Assalam alaikum ,It is with profound gratitude to Allah (SWT) and immense appreciation that I address the University community and our valued stakeholders today.
The Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU)@iuiuac @iufckabojja has been blessed with a significant gesture of international Islamic solidarity that will substantially advance our mission of providing quality education grounded in Islamic values.
We were deeply honored to recently receive a distinguished delegation from the esteemed Islamic Solidarity Fund (ISF).@ISFD_IsDB

This delegation comprised HE. Dr. Muhammad Aba Alkhayl, H.E. Dr. Abdel Raziq Mohammed, and H.E. Dr. Kurdi Shumukh Ali. Their visit to our Females’ campus in kampala-wakiso kabojja @iufckabojja was not merely ceremonial, it marked a pivotal moment for IUIU's future.

During this important visit, a formal agreement was signed between IUIU and the Islamic Solidarity Fund. This agreement signifies the ISF's generous donation towards two critical pillars of our development.

1. Completion of the School of Nursing Block, This vital contribution will directly accelerate the finalization of our dedicated School of Nursing infrastructure. Completing this facility is paramount to expanding our capacity to train highly skilled, ethical healthcare professionals desperately needed in Uganda and the wider region.

This block will become a center of excellence, enabling us to enhance practical training, research, and ultimately, the quality of healthcare delivery inspired by Islamic principles of service and compassion.
2. Provision of Scholarships for International Students, Recognizing IUIU's role as a beacon of Islamic higher education in Africa, the ISF donation also includes crucial funding for scholarships specifically targeted at international students.

This initiative powerfully embodies the Islamic spirit of brotherhood and knowledge-sharing across borders. It will enable talented students from diverse backgrounds, who might otherwise lack the means, to access IUIU's unique educational offerings, fostering a richer, more globally connected campus environment and building future leaders for the Muslim world.

This generous support from the Islamic Solidarity Fund transcends mere financial assistance. It is a powerful testament to the enduring bonds of Islamic brotherhood and a resounding vote of confidence in IUIU's vision and impact. The ISF's commitment directly aligns with our core objectives of academic excellence, community service, and promoting understanding through education.

On behalf of the University Council, Management, Staff, and most importantly, our students – both present and future beneficiaries of this generosity I extend our deepest and most heartfelt thanks to the Islamic Solidarity Fund, its leadership, and the esteemed delegation, H.E. Dr. Muhammad Aba Alkhayl, HE. Dr. Abdel Raziq Mohammed, and H.E. Dr. Kurdi Shumukh Ali.

Their foresight and commitment to empowering education are truly commendable. This donation marks a significant leap forward. The completed Nursing School will bolster Uganda's healthcare workforce, while the international scholarships will enrich our campus tapestry and extend IUIU's positive influence far beyond our borders.

We are inspired by this partnership and reaffirm our commitment to utilizing these resources with the utmost integrity, efficiency, and dedication to our shared goals.

We pray to Allah (SWT) to bless the Islamic Solidarity Fund abundantly for this noble investment in the future of education and human development. We look forward to nurturing this partnership for years to come as we continue striving to fulfill our mandate as a premier Islamic institution of higher learning.
